Braun TrueScan Plus Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor

My Doctor recommended that I purchase a Blood Pressure Test Kit and I had it checked by my Doctor and it was accurate. You can't ask for more than that

I bought 3 for me and for my family as presents. Same time I measured them to test how accurate they are also with Professional OMRON and I have to tell this product is peace of sh.t. The measurements was so different like 30-40 different and even i measured with same one and always have different one. It only one place where I can put this place and is garbage bin. Unfortunately I cant give such present to my family so its waste of money. Will have to look for another one. I don’t recommend this prodact. Its BiG shame on Braun, because I trust that company before. But looks like now another company which prefer money that good product. BIG SHAME!!!

This product is OK. Sphygmomanometers are so accurate these days, there is little difference between them. My criticism of this machine is relevant to those currently on offer, hence the 2 star rating.Product description - a proof reading fault regards element “F”. If you are English, do you know what ‘Knopf zum Einstellen von Uhrzeit und Datum” means….? I have some German knowledge, so I worked it out in terms entering hour and date…. The English is ignored here, and should have been made much clearer -no excuse whatsoever for this language error, and scandalous that this hasn’t been picked up.Recognising the proper level to take blood pressure is certainly not as good with this wrist monitor, (certainly not as audibly clear) compared with the Omron wrist monitor I have been using for the past months. The “beep” sound on this Braun is far quieter than the Omron, too many of the bleeps in fact to differentiate between them to get accuracy. If you are a bit hard of hearing, this could prove a difficulty. The difference between a “good” position and a “bad” one, takes some getting used to compared to the Omron moniter.This Braun monitor comes in what looks like a small kitchen container. Something more discrete and appealing would be appreciated, not a simple plastic container that you would you put your dried beans in, (unless you want everyone to see quite bold what is there in the bathroom). As for the capability to download recordings to the computer via the software facility, I suggest this is in fact a waste of time - pen and paper is perfect for this.At the end of the day, I will stick with my more usual Beurer model, with an upper arm cuff, as you would be tested with in the GP surgery. Omron second, and this product 3rd in my preferred choice.

This is great product, its very easy to use and the results looks bang-on. I recommend this Blood Pressure unit.

This isn't really any easier to use than a machine of normal size. You have to set it, put it on then lift your arm so its resting on your chest. Its good for taking on holiday or on trips as its smaller but its not a superior product when compared to a normal blood pressure monitor.

The readings have much difference when i compare to the upper arm. Am still trying to use it as instructed to see if i get same range readings

This was a replacement for a monitor that went wrong. I was a bit unsure if the readings were accurate as they were lower than my previous one. After a week or so it stopped working. Every time I put it on is came up Err 02 so I sent it back.
