Bloody love this
This is my favourite pickle and I used to eat it all the time, even to add to soup to improve the taste, until it went off sale some time ago.This newer so called 'Premium' version tastes just like the old Geetas Aubergine Pickle (I had kept the end of my last jar of the previous type so that I could compare).Not the cheapest way to buy it after adding shipping costs, but I had to have some, maximum kudos to Good Food Co. for next day delivery, very impressive thank you.

The real deal
The flavour is sublime, real Indian style brinjal pickle, nothing like the sweet jam like stuff that’s usually passed off as a pickle.Highly recommended!

Quite sour
Decided to try Geetas after Pataks went up from £1.95 to £2.30. We really like the sweet, smokiness of the Patak brand. This is much more tart, more like a lime pickle. Also, it's actually more expensive given the comparative size of jar. To be fair, I did know that before buying, but wanted to see if it is worth it. For us, it's not. Personal taste, I think. Will stick to Pataks.
