I have many feeders in the yard. This spring we lost a young blue jay I’d named Sqwauker. I bought this little jay to as a marker for him, and I love it. It’s adorable, colorful and durable!

Taking into consideration the 20-30 price range, this is a pretty decent garden decoration. Adds something interesting, is big enough to be seen from far away. Isn't an overpriced 50-200 nonsense statue.I bought the blue jay a month or so ago and liked it enough to come back and buy the goldfinch.I can't speak to how long it will last without rusting, it seems decently covered in paint.It's decently heavy metal, so I've yet to see it blow over in the wind. We've had "shade umbrellas are acting crazy" wind, but not anything major yet. Seems sturdy enough that if it got blown over by wind, it wouldn't travel too far, and would not break easily. If it was up higher and fell (4 feet?) and hit hard brick/concrete - it would probably get bent/broken.There are several sketchy copy-cat listings going on with these metal birds. This version is NOT the one that has a washer (ring) in the feet to insert a screw. (Just in case that mattered to you). Quality seems decent, so I would guess this is the original or a well done copycat. It is balanced and stands up properly. The tail is separate, you just pop it in. Based on how it hooks in, I don't expect the tail to come out at all. Even if it tumbled a bit, but some reviewers said the tail fell out and they glued it in place. It's an L shaped metal bar, so it can't just fall out.

Holding up good to the outdoors.

It is very life-like and also looks like it will last.

Love the splash of color these birds provide in our shaded area.

They are pretty but legs broke on my blue bird after one summer just outside couple months brought in for winter n legs snapped at the feet and they rust quick

Well-made metal goldfinch. Sturdy looks really nice on my front porch rail sitting in a nest made of a piece of Christmas garland.

These birds are better looking than in the on-line pictures. They do not do them justice. They really brighten up the flower beds, especially in winter, and look completely natural.
