Awesome product for a surprisingly low cost
My team thinks a dropped hundreds on this device :) It works perfectly, and it works perfectly. Sleek, can fit in my pocket. High def recording with a decent distance from the mic. Strong magnets keeping the mic docked to the base. Highly recommend.

Didn't Connect the best
Maybe it was just me, but when I tried connecting it would take a bit to actually connect. Then when recording there was a lot of static in the play back audio. Again maybe it was just me.

Besides the terrible hissing, it's fine!
Tried cleaning it up in software which I don't think should be necessary anyway and that helps but it's still there. One is a high pitch hiss and there is a low pitch or quiet hum and hiss around the rest of the spectrum. Don't know why. It also auto detects necessary volume so it jumps around a bit. Maybe it just functions with GAIN set to MAX and then it dials that back as it deems necessary, hence that ridiculous hissing noise. Can't use this for anything remotely professional

Easy to use lapel mike will decent sound quality
On the whole, there's a lot to like about this wireless lapel microphone. It's fairly compact for being wireless, comes with a USB-C base that doubles as charger (bonus points for the magnetic connection between the base/plug and the microphone itself), setup is fast and easy and it has pretty good battery life to go along with good (though not great) sound quality. For recording spoken word or transmission to an amplifier, this is a pretty solid microphone. It picks up the wearer's voice clearly and duplicates it faithfully to the receiver. The connection between the microphone and base is solid, and it easily clips on to a shirt or blouse. Native connectivity is over USB-C with a built in USB-C male plug and converters to change it to USB-A or Lightning so you can use this with most Android phones, iPadOS and iOS devices and laptop/desktop computers. I tried it with both a Google Pixel and a Windows PC and it worked fine with both. That's a lot of functionality for a very reasonable price! So why did I only give the microphone 4 stars then? A couple of small things that added up. For one, it can't charge via the data connection, so you have to charge the base (and then the base charges the lapel piece) on the OPPOSITE side using a USB-C female jack. For two, I wish the clip on the lapel part swiveled, so that you could always have it pointed at your face - even sidewise (like on a polo shirt) it still picks up good sound - but not AS good as when it's directly pointed at your mouth. And both the microphone itself and the base are a good bit bulkier than I would think they need to be (though not huge in the grand scheme of things). No dealbreakers, but enough to remove one star when considered together. All that said, if you need a decent wireless lapel microphone with some nifty flexibility and features, this packs in a lot for a low price and is worth your time to give it a try!

Proves its sound quality
I tried a couple of different lavalier mics, and found I liked this one best. I tested out this lavalier mic, compared it to one other lavalier-style mic, and then compared both to two regular desktop mics. I think the sound quality is a little bit better on this one (nice and crisp) vs the other lavalier mic, and that is exactly the reason I chose this one from its listing description. My desktop mics were a little better, but that was unsurprising since they were more expensive, sitting on my desk, and when I recorded I was stationary sitting at a desk as compared to dancing around my office like a loon with the lavalier mic.The microphone part of this set clips into the receiver (which is USB-C) to charge. This keeps everything tidily stacked together. It also comes with adapters for lightning/USB-A - I slapped the USB-A end onto it and stuck it in a power strip to charge to test that option out, and it worked. Because of the extra adapter pieces, I held onto the box to keep everything together - and the box is small and nicely constructed so this doesn't feel like a huge burden. I would consider getting a small jewelry bag or something to keep it in if I wanted to downsize/tuck it in a pocket of a computer bag.A wind screen for the mic is included, but it's not immediately obvious about how to use it - you just kind of jam it on there around the clip. It works really well, but it seems a bit of an afterthought. The mic is a flat slab, and felt stable clipped onto my collar - with the shape of the clip, I didn't feel like it moved around or was unbalanced. The receiver and the mic both have a clear indicator light showing that they're on. It's pleasantly easy to see (some others I've tried have been more subtle), though the wind screen can cover the light on the mic section. The receiver itself has a fairly low profile - compared to some others, I was less worried about snapping this off in a port if I accidentally bonked my phone on something. This is my favorite lavalier mic that I've tried, and I am kind of looking for excuses to use it more/show it off. I'm looking forward to messing around with it more for podcasting, and if I start a youtube channel in the next couple of months, you'll know why.

Doesn't work for phone calls
I have a Samsung Galaxy S21FEThis microphone works well if you are using the camera app to record video. The person in the video may be some distance away from the phone, then the built-in microphone picks up a lot of ambient sounds and doesn't pick up the speech of the person very well. This microphone works automatically as soon as you plug it in, no settings to change or set up required, a short pop-up message says that you are recording from the external microphone. The person in the video can attach this microphone to their collar, and the video will record their speech much clearer. This microphone DOES NOT WORK with the phone app. When making a phone call, the phone only uses the built-in microphone. Nothing happens when you plug in the external microphone, it doesn't even acknowledge that it's there. The phone will not recognize it. Similarly, it does not work with the Messenger app for voice calls or video chats. Since I purchased this solely for conversion and communication, this microphone is useless to me. I wish the product description had made that clear, it would have saved me from wasting money on this purchase, and saved me hours of time searching for info or settings trying to make it work on calls.

Decent enough microphone
I bough this for zoom meetings and sometimes for video voice-over. The main thing is that this is the 3rd mike I bought and the 1st one that actually works. So that's a treat. Set up was easy, and I like the fact that they provide a USB A to USB C adapter so you can plug the receiver right into an older PC that only has USB A. The sound quality is better than my webcam but not stellar. I found the base was a little high, so my voice sounded a kind of boomy. I ended up installing EqualizerAPO on my PC and assigned it to the mike. After playing with that a bit I got the sound more or less the way I want. So it's all good.

Cool mic but it makes a hissing noise and isn't really usable
I like it but can't use it because the hissing noise it makes is too noticeable for recording.
