Bought the Beard Styling and Conditioning wax to try and tame my upper lip fuzz. The product looks geared towards a more controlled hold even good enough for the moustache. The product is fairly hard in the tin and can only be scraped out with a fingernail. I followed the instructions to melt the wax in the palm but I must admit I struggled to completely melt the wax. It remained grainy and no amount of friction would melt the remaining grains of wax. I thought I had a dodgy batch but after receiving a replacement from the BIG Company (fantastic service BTW) I had similar results. I can only think it was designed for hotter climates than the U.K. Either that or I’m just cold blooded! Perhaps I need a hair dryer to help things out..... The wax that that did melt had a good consistency that would likely do the intended job, it’s just a shame I couldn’t use it without grainy wax bits left in the moustache. I also have the beard balm from this company and that is much better, but I guess this recipe for a moustache wax/strong balm isn’t quite right for me. Your mileage may vary of course... Nice product except for the grainy texture.

I've been using this for a few days now and the hold is decent, it keeps my thick beard hairs where I want them to be.The balm itself feels more like a stiff wax in the tin, making it rather difficult to scrape out, I find myself having to use an object to scrape a bit off and into the palm of my hand but once you warm it into your hands it gets the job done. The vanilla scent is subtle but nice, however I feel it could be a bit stronger or maybe something a little more punchy like orange and vanilla?In the box came a little card with a link address to claim the free ebook and the promise of a discount on your next purchase, after going to the address you are prompted to type your email to receive the bonus's. After nearly a week I am yet to receive a word about this, not even any confirmation or anything in my spam box. If you don't deliver something, it shouldn't be advertised.All in all, this beard balm / wax is pretty decent and would otherwise be 4* they delivered fully on what is advertised.

Great fragrance, when warmed and melted in your hands it is easy to apply and is not sticky or greasy. Think it gives good hold and softens the hair nicely.

Really disliked this product it’s not that soft, the scent is really weak it doesn’t really do it for me not value for money

Love it the wax is perfect for my beard needs it smell great and the firm hold does exactly what it is supposed to, I will be buying again.

Good beard balm for the price does help with making your beard smell better and feel better with all natural ingredients.

This was by far the best Beard Balm I have ever used. I absolutely loved the ‘regal vanilla’ spice fragrance and the consistency as a beard conditioner was spot on.However, it would appear that they have since changed their formula and it’s not only a much harder / firmer consistency but the fragrance is not nearly as strong as it was previously. I just threw out my most recent tin of this product and remain highly disappointed. I sincerely wish they didn’t mess with their original and much loved ‘regal vanilla’ formula.

I bought this wax for controlling my moustache that has hairs that grow at different rates and directions. I find this doesn't have enough hold for my hair. It does soften but works better when an oil is applied with it. I will put a fairly generous amount of wax to the point that it becomes visible and then comb it through but after just a couple of minutes the hairs go to wherever they want to go. It did relieve some of the itch and has a mild vanilla smell. My only disappointment is the lack of control.

This is the fourth time I've ordered this product. It holds my unruly beard in place all day long. great smelling but the smell doesn't last. I add jojoba oil and tea tree oil and it's perfect. It's texture is of very hard wax, especially difficult to dispense when travelling to the colder regions of the world. Must rub vigoursly between palms until soft to apply, but that's to be expected due to the hold it supplies. The small tin can be re-purposed as well. Sometimes leaves small bits of wax in the beard, but combing helps with this. I like it too because it's not shiny. It's a high quality product that needs to be applied once a day. My beard is soft and healthy and I love this stuff.

Package is quite small. Looks bigger in picture. And the wax is pretty hard. You'll have to grab bits with your nail, put it in your hands' palms, and massage it before putting in on a warm, wet beard. Otherwise you'll just get chunks of wax stuck in your beard.

Was expection some hairdresser quality and didnt get what i wish for, its like craving a candle. I will try to mix it with other oil like other user does to change de scent... didnt saw it when I order, i tough it would be sone wood or spice scent and received vanilla.... but its my fault so be carefullMy score is low only because of the scent and the hardness of the product. I really like the scent of this. It holds really well throughout the day and I'm constantly touching my beard. It tames those beard hairs that want to stand out from the rest really well.The texture while warming up in my hands feels a little grainy which was odd at first, but once it completely melts it feels nice and smooth and applies perfectly.I'll defineatly be buying again and trying more products from thhis company.

I suffer from curly bearditus. I was ashamed to show my unruly face mane in public. That is until I found this beard balm. Now I can walk in public and the sun shines solely on me. All kidding aside, this stuff smells great and holds even better. Only balm I use.

Not too smelly, slight vanilla smell fast becomes unnoticeable. Provides good hold and shape without being gross and sticky. Washes out easily. As a bonus it makes great lip balm.Second tin- stache is longer. Good sculpting wax, can get a nice curl with it. Recently tried another brand that held better but it was too stinky. So far this one wins

So I recieved the product yesterday and am giving my opinion after one day of use. It feels nice when you add it to your beard and made it feel less dry. I was very disappointed though because one of the reasons I ordered this exact product is because of the vanilla scent it advertised. Maybe I recieved a bad batch or something but it only smells like wax and I do not smell any vanilla.

Just what I was looking for. Simply follow the directions and enjoy. Perfect for the shorter beard lengths during the training process’. The smell is nice and still masculine, but on top of it all, their customer service is second to none.

This beard balm is pretty good, it has quite a strong hold that lasts all day, but also provides a nice matte finish to the beard so it doesn't look oily and greasy. It is a little harder to get out of the can, however if you use your fingernail you could scrape it out pretty easily and work it through your hands. A small scraper tool would be a nice addition to this beard balm. Overall a good balm with nice hold and a nice inoffensive vanilla smell.

I have been using the original BIG balm for years and it has kept my beard conditioned and soft. I like that there is just enough hold to style and add texture, without making my beard stiff. I previously had lots of dry scabby skin under my beard but BIG balm has kept that away. It also tames the straggly hairs really well.I decided to try the vanilla scent this time and I think it's really nice; light but masculine.

It smells like vanilla, which is nice if that's your thing. It makes my beard a little bit softer too. However, the hold is very weak. It cannot be used for styling at all, particularly not for a mustache. This is not a very strong hold as advertised, I have medium hold waxes that are way stronger than this.

Extremely hard product. Have to scrape with a lot of force using the back of a finger nail to get a tiny amount. The smell seemed ok, but it was nauseating after a short while. Don't know how people can have this type of smell right under their nose.
