Okay if you can get them to stick
Tricky to use as the glue melts at a higher temperature than most lycra items can withstand. You have to used a intermediary to absorb the excess heat. If you manage to get these to stick then they seem to be quite good and have withstood a machine wash cycle so far without problems.

Fixed a cycling jersey
Got a tiny hole in an almost new cycling jersey that my son bought for me. Probably caught it with the velcro on one of my gloves. Decided to try this iron on stuff. Cut a small, roundish bit, and put it on the inside of the jersey. I put a piece of cloth over it, and then ironed it on. At first I tried it on a very low setting of the iron (jersey is made of polyester and the label says don't iron), and it didn't stick. Gradually increased the temperature, and on the two-dot setting of the iron it worked. It seems you need to apply a fair amount of pressure, and make sure not to use any water/steam. It's still on now.

Not Suitable For My Needs
Tried to use this to patch a couple of holes appearing in a pair of compression shorts. In angled space, they're very awkward to get to stick properly and then on my first run, they peeled up anyway. Also, the patch material is very thin itself and quite see-through with just one layer. I'm not sure what exactly it's meant to be used for to be most effective. Product might be good, but intended usage and instructions certainly aren't the best.

Nightmare to work with!
Not worth the money. No backing tape!! Its so flimsy you can't see which is the front or the back. I had to keep cutting pieces off it to iron on a sample to see which was the adhesive side. More than half of it wasted because of that, totally frustrating. I eventually finished the job by cutting it into small pieces & marking the sticky side with a koki pen. For goodness sake give it a peel off backing tape or visible markers so we know which side is which. When it was on correctly it worked well, but the stress involved would prevent me from ever buying it again.

Should have read the reviews
It stuck relatively well, but there’s absolutely no stretch and just pulled right off. If this was for a t shirt I think it might of worked. I was banking on it being stretchy - which is was not.

It's stretchy in name only!
It doesn't stretch at all! I bought it for a tiny hole in a t shirt and thought it would be ideal since it would stretch with the shirt. No such luck.
