HGhygienic Whirlpool Cleaner, 1000 ml

We had a whirlpool bath installed a couple of years ago when changing our bathroom and needed an easy method of keeping the jets clean. This has been the perfect solution, you simply fill your bath to 5cm above the highest jets and the cleaner and then let it do it's job. Cleaning time is one complete cycle of the jets. The cleaner does not smell too strong and does a good job. After use you simply drain the bath and are then good to go, I usually just give a quick rinse with the shower to remove anything that has come from the jets. Recommend for anybody with a spa bath who are looking for a simple cleaning method.

There is surely no greater gripe when lazing in a hot, bubbling tub than to open your eyes and see a bit of bath scum bob past you. Is it skin? hair? a clump of bacteria?! Put an end to unidentifiable bath froth and for the price of a posh flannel you'll receive around 20 applications - once a month should be plenty...This product is absolutely brilliant. Within 15 minutes your bath will sparkle and you'll be able to relax and rest easy next time you fancy a soak. It uses only natural ingredients, shunning chemicals that could otherwise tarnish or abrade your bath. 5 stars from me!

This is a good whirlpool bath cleaner if the instructions are followed. It has a pine smell. If you use it between weekly and monthly then in my experience it will keep the pipes in good condition and clean, and the manufacturer insists you won’t need a second whirlpool bath full of water to rinse the cleaner out of the pipes.Just one caution: if you greatly exceed the recommended 75ml of cleaner then the foam can get out of hand, bubbling-up to a great height after a few minutes and flowing onto the floor.We also have a garden water feature powered by an electric pump, and this stuff is good for sterilizing that too.

I was a bit sceptical about this product , but my fears were unfounded, It does exactly what it says on the bottle , brilliant ,I gave it a 8 minute rinse with clean water after and it's gleaming . Very happy indeed :-) . it recommends 50 to 75 ml I did 75ml ... It was a bit too much as it bubbled up everywhere ... Less is definatly more

Whilst it cleaned my whirlpool bath well, the foam produced was coming over the edge of the bath so I couldn't run it for the suggested 15 minutes

This is amazing, we had a whirlpool fitted over a year ago, I asked the fitters (professionals) how to clean it, they told me you don't need to...just fill it with hot water and let it run for an hour.... well as we all know that doesn't workBought this after reading reviews, a little sceptical as after a year we no longer used the whirlpool feature on the bath as it would just throw out dirt, I put a bit more in than the recommended dose and less than the 'deep clean' dose about 150ml I used, and fair play, 15 minutes later, a lot of crap all in the bubbles had appeared, turned jets of, drained water out, rinsed it away, (water was properly disgusting) and now its like new, force of the jets is like new again, and its clean :)For the price I was doubtful it worked, considering you only need 50ml to clean it, and its a litre, it will last a very long time also :)

Disappointing. This product left my Jacuzzi bath sparkling and smelling fresh. However it wasn't that dirty in the first place. Reading other reviews about "black gunk" coming out of their bath jets makes me wonder what they put into the bath in the first place and how regularly they clean it!! No spectacular results for me which was comforting though disappointing!! I've given this 2 stars primarily for the instructions on the bottle. After adding the HG bath cleaner "turn all the systems on for 15 minutes". This, I thought would give all the internal pipes a through cleaning blast. Not so!! After 30 seconds the mountain of foam created threatened to overflow the bath and engulf the entire bathroom. So, had to switch off and leave it!! It's the first Jacuzzi sanitiser I've ever used that is an impractical bubble-making liquid. I'm surprised that very few reviewers have mentioned this problem. I'll go back to using my previous product. A shame, because otherwise HG seems to do a reasonable job - if it was allowed to fully do so!

Bought this because the jets on my whirlpool bath was disgusting.after the initial first clean using the larger amount of product I was still getting some rubbish so repeated the deep clean and am glad to say the jets are brilliant now I will continue using this product and highly recommend .and a good price
