Great value. Pleasantly surprised.
Way better than I expected. I bought these before investing in more expensive watercolour pens. But after swatching them on cold pressed water card. I would recommend.

Affordable for a beginner
Never used this type of water color before, so created a page of try outs. I like the effect you can achieve with the pens. Not all the pens have worked well. Few were not flowing correctly, as if the colour seemed dried out, compared to the rest. I was unable to use the water brush as it was sealed shut and felt it was going to break if persissted. Ended up squeezing the water up into the pen from a cup then it leaked from a join, over my work. Ended up adding coloured pencil to improve on the non effective pens.Quite disappointed as went for a mid- priced pack to see if I liked using them as an alternative to a palette.

Very good for the grandchildren to use, no mess & good for all ages.
Very easy and clean to use.Only down side. Some of the paint had leaked in transit. But once they were wiped round all was good.Suitable for all ages really.

Mixed feelings
Arrived quickly with Amazon Prime.I have mixed feelings about this pen set, maybe because some of the pens had leaked inside their caps when it arrived so I had paint all over my hands when testing a couple of them. The other thing is the pen box which is a stiff plastic wallet that contains an inner plastic liner with recesses to hold each pen, unfortunately it is difficult to remove a pen easily resulting in my having them all over the floor at one point when it snagged the outer wallet. Now for the pens themselves, the brushes on the end are really nice, very soft and pointed allowing for fine detail or wider strokes. The colours are vibrant and here lies a problem, although I have not yet fully tested them my initial impression is that the colours will not wash when the water pen is used and so the boundary edges will be sharp colours rather than blurred. On the other hand as small brushes to do detailed paintings they do look very good, smooth and colourful.I was surprised that the colour pigment used was more like that of a felt tip pen and hard to remove if on your hands and I suspect impossible if on clothing. Also worth noting is that the water pen has a LEFT hand thread to undo the water reservoir so you turn it clockwise to unscrew it. I will update this if they perform better than my initial impression.

BRILLIANT BRUSH PENS
INCREDIBLE!! For only £10:88 it’s incredible value for money. Mine came fast with next day delivery and these are easily the best thing I have ever ordered via Amazon. The only problem, which was quickly fixed is that I can’t work out how to open the water pen but it’s unscrew and was easy to fix once my aunt helped!Brilliant casing inside as I find it annoying when the pen colours mix up but there are little clips that keep them organised so they stay in place.Really enjoying using these, thanks so much!!!!!

A review of these vs copic markers
My daughter usually uses copic markers or alcohol-based markers to draw manga and anime pictures. I didn’t want to take them on holiday as they are a) expensive and b) I was a little worried that they would dry out in the heat. I’m not sure that would be the case but at the price we paid out for all these markers I wasn’t willing to risk it. This seemed like a good alternative as she refuses to travel anywhere without supplies and once my daughter got the hang of them, they worked quite well. They are a lot more like brushes then she used to and the blending water pen was very different to the alcohol marker version. It’s not as precise as she would like but actually it’s moved her into a different style. The colours come out bright and not as you’d expect if you were painting with watercolours. (This is great for kids to learn watercolour without the mess!)

I love felt tips pens. These are like a paint brush so easy to use and the colours are amazing.
