Amazing 360 degree Rotation and CLEAR picture!
I am always using a "baby" monitor to be sure everyone is safe and well cared for. This is the best safety monitor that i have encountered. Not only does it rotate all the way around so you can see the full room, including tilting it up and down, but also it is clear. I could literally READ this through the monitor screen:-Jesus said to her, "I Am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11) And that's small print Bible text. My family is amazed. As you can see low lighting is automatically "night mode" which is kinda strangely colored (see Panda in photo). You can't pick to force it stay in color day mode or night mode. Also, this is not likely going to be super durable. I have had monitors and cameras dropped, stepped on, thrown and such by the wonderful people i get to caregive for, but this is like a little robot with many complicated moving parts and i doubt it would last up to a major drop or being stepped on. So that's a bit of a downside, but the price you pay for having such an awesome range of motion and viewing and features. There's a learning curve to figure out all the buttons but if you hold down the arrows on the monitor for a bit, then the camera will sloooowly turn back and forth or up and down. And the "house" button gives you the list of options below including zoom and time, volume, and temperature adjustments. This is a huge blessing and would be useful for any parents, family with an elderly member, nurse or doctor, and any caregiver of any kind. Also would help keep track of pets too. We found we could go to the house next door and still see the picture on our monitor, so it's likely to pick up the video signal anywhere in your house too. May Jesus bless you with His life today!

Disappointed
I was very excited about this product but have been somewhat disappointed. For starters i was happy it came fully charged so i could get it going right away. Set up was easy enough but The worst part is the camera spanning. There's a major delay. The time it catches up you've already missed what you were looking for. My home is about 2400sqft we only get 1 bar or a connection error when we are on the opposite side of the house. It works if we position it so we can see mostly the whole room but if you need to span you're in trouble. It did detect when my baby woke up, prompting the monitor to turn on. It had a lot of music choices, a timer for feeding, and the full charge actually lasted for the whole day and overnight. On the downside I had a hard time navigated it at night in the dark because there's no backlight for the buttons. It's not like physical buttons where you can just memorize what what is what, so I had to get some lighting on to be able to navigate it. Which leads me to another hassle. I think I like having all the buttons quickly available whereas with this you have to go to the home menu and click until you get to the feature you want. I feel like some things like volume should have a button to quickly access which this does not.UPDATE FEB 11, 23I've been trying to swing back around for an update. Mine stopped working a few weeks ago so it lasted about 2 months. An error pops up on the handheld and I have to go restart the camera and then it may work again for as long as a day or as short as a few mins before it's back not working. At this point I've given up. I did grow to like it more prior to this despite the initial drawbacks mentioned in my original review. I had gotten used to it and the camera was clear and it helped me keep an eye on things but like most baby monitors, it didnt last. I just wasnt expecting it so soon.

Impressed first-time video monitor user
EDIT: The monitor broke after a few months. The charging port stopped responding to the microUSB charger. Upon closer examination, it seems that the charging port is too shallow for the male end. I managed to get it to charge for another few weeks after it started acting up, but that was short-lived. I got another system and see now just how flimsy this unit is for the price. Don't get me wrong, this is a nice introductory decice, but it became inoperable quickly. <</edit>>Set-up is super easy. Essentially, just plug the thing in and press the power button. The image on the monitor is really clear. I have mine set a little farther from the bed, but that's so I can also spy on my dog as she spies on the baby. At first, I didn't think the mic worked, but I have it set to medium, so there was about a half-second delay before I picked up the cries on the parent monitor (I'm in the room next door and the doors are all open). The controls are easy, but I keep doing something when I move the camera that turns it to night mode. It works fantastic, though. The picture is still really crisp on the parent monitor at 720p, even though I'm accustomed to 4k nowadays. My daughter even commented just before she left the baby. The parent monitor charges fast and has a pretty long battery life. I had mine off the charger for about 3 hours, and the power went down one bar.I still need to play around with things because I want the parent monitor to stay awake a little bit longer, and there's mention of recordings, but no details on how to set a recording and access it. I want to know so I can turn it off. I'm not a fan of all this surveillance, but babysitting my first grandchild in a multi-story house requires more than my ears. This model also comes with an industrial wire to mount the camera onto a bedpost or something. It's well-made, wrapped in a rubber-like coating but the wire inside is piable but also takes more than a little bit of effort to move.
