I don't even know what to say about this book. I loved it. I'm reading this author's backlist of books and I'm FURIOUS I didn't find her sooner. JJ Arias writing is fantastic and her storylines are so unique. I'm constantly in awe of her ability to weave so much chemistry into her characters and a plot that's so individual to her work and relatable to her readers. This was an INCREDIBLY steamy, low angst read full of interrupted encounters, loaded gazes, sexy smirks, and HOT HOT HOT ladies loving ladies scenes. I loved Taylor and Raquel as a couple. Taylor is a free spirit, traveling the world and indulging in spontaneity whereas Raquel is controlled and in charge of her life, taking care of her ailing father and teaching at a university. They're a perfect opposites-attract couple. Watching Taylor thaw the Ice Queen was intensely pleasurable. I mean I was giddy through this whole book.Taylor's friends were hysterical. I mean I could absolutely run with that crowd. There were so many laugh-out-loud moments at the high school reunion. That's one of the things I think I love most about the work I've read from JJ. Her characters speak to me on a whole different level. I could legit be friends with these characters.I'm beyond excited that I've found this author and her backlist is so long because I'm obsessed with JJ Arias!

I will read anything by J.J. Arias... and this one is by far my favorite (I've read it 3x already). Super sexy, age-gap romance that really takes you for a ride! Taylor and Raquel meet on vacation at a reunion, and it's a fun, exciting, slow burn of a fling. And when they finally cut through all the sexual tension...🔥🌋🎆It's only when they get back to their lives that the couple realizes what they mean to each other. It's so sweet and so good to see how they navigate through their relationship. I highly recommend this book!!!

Great read overall. Has a general sense of tension but without the higher stress from melodrama and gross miscommunication as a plot device. Their choices and goals matter though and you want to see how they'll overcome the roadblocks.Two fun characters who have unique voices that okay off each other well.Quite a bit of sex with fairly high levels of detail, but not quite into saying certain body parts names (not that there's anything wrong with that).

The story between Raquel and her former high school student Taylor starts 10 years after Taylor has graduated. Taylor happens to see Raquel at the airport as they are both traveling back to the high school to attend the 10 year reunion. Taylor always had a crush on Raquel and now was her chance to convince Raquel it’s more than that. The story keeps getting better from that point on. You won’t be be disappointed!

I absolutely love this story and could not put it down. The characters were so beautifully written and you could feel the connection. The details to the latin culture were such a beautiful touch and the story left you wanting more. Arias is one of the best writers of sapphic romance and powerful and strong women I have encountered.

I found myself smiling from ear to ear and laughing out loud quite a bit! It really felt real to me like I was really there! I've never read a book from this author and I read a book everyday. This one really had me glued. The way she detailed everything was masterful! The love scenes were very enticing, The friend scenes were very life like, and I didn't find the relationship build to be unreal. Will definitely read more books from this author.

Great read. Fast and easy. The characters are both lovable and Arias does an awesome job at building the tension between them and morphing that tension into love. I’m not normally into age gap, but this was special. Enjoy the read

Such a HOT and beautiful age gap love story. Taylor is going back to Miami for her 10 yr high school reunion, when she sees her high school history teacher Mrs. Raquel Alonso. Taylor had/has the biggest crush on her. An almost 20 yr gap makes no difference to Taylor. Then no difference to Raquel. Such a fantastic story, definitely worthy of 5 stars!

I would have never picked this on up, cause I usually go for the cover. But someone who knows what she is talking about suggested it to me and it is so good.Well written, well developed, very well edited and clearly carefully paced. Loved it

This is the first book by J.J. Arias I have read, it will not be the last!This age-gap romance is so close to reality it is remarkable.Well developed characters, a believable story in great settings.A great read and a beautiful love story!

Dieses Buch hat mich wirklich überrascht. Nachdem mir bereits das Buch "Crossing the Line" dieser Autorin sehr gefallen hat, habe ich nun auch dieses Buch gelesen und bin sehr überrascht worden. Ich muss zugeben, meine Erwartungen waren nicht sehr hoch, aber das Buch hat für mich alles, was ein gutes Buch haben sollte. Die Geschichte ist viel tiefgründiger als ich es angenommen hatte und hat mich wirklich gefesselt. Ich habe das Buch in nicht mal zwei Tagen durchgelesen. Die Charaktere sind unheimlich gut beschrieben und wachsen einem ans Herz. Auch der Humor kommt nicht zu kurz und ich musste über das ganze Buch hinweg immer wieder schmunzeln oder auch das ein oder andere Mal herzhaft lachen. Obendrein gibt es ein paar explizite (aber dabei nie vulgäre) Sexszenen. Wer eine unterhaltsame und erotisches Geschichte mit etwas Tiefgang sucht, der sollte hier definitiv zuschlagen.This book really surprised me. I have to admit my expectations weren't very high, but for me this book has everything a good book should have. The story is much deeper than I thought it would be and really grabbed me. I read the book in less than two days. The characters are incredibly well described and grow on you. The humor is also not neglected and I had to smile again and again throughout the book or even laugh heartily once or twice. On top of that, there are a few explicit (but never vulgar) sex scenes.If you're looking for an entertaining and erotic story with some depth, you should definitely hit this one.

I love an age gap romance and this didn't fail. I adored the characters and the reference to a previous J.J. Arias story made me smile. This story had the romance, the longing, the smut and the fun

I’ve read several books by J.J. Arias and I absolutely loved this one. It ticked so many boxes for me: characters I connected with, clever dialogue, sexy times, and character growth. This a fantastic read!
