Hakoba Chikan Embroidered Pure Cotton Fabric by Meter Sewing Craft Upholstery DIY, Width-91 (2-MTS / 182x91 cm, Baby-Pink 2M)

I've been sewing for over 55 years, and one thing i do with new fabrics is test for content with a burn test. That revealed to me this fabric is not 100% cotton, more likely a poly cotton blend. It's pretty, it's got a lovely hand but i use only 100% natural fibres in my work, due to natural dyes being used, and this is not going to dye properly at all. Cotton when burnt should smell almost like hair, crush into a powder and not bead or form hard edges due to melting synthetic fibres as this one did. Because this is a poly cotton blend, it's also over priced. I'm very disappointed and will be contacting the seller and Amazon for either a replacement of 100% cotton, or a refund.

Fabric is beautiful!

This fabric does not disappoint. It is so beautiful and soft. The price is amazing for this quality of fabric. Washing will be the ultimate test; but, at this point, I believe that I will be ordering more in different colors. So happy with it!
