High Quality & Very Sharp Chef’s Knife
Very nice chef’s knife that is well balanced, high-quality, super sharp, and is easy to hold. Just be aware that the blade length is not super long, so someone who has very large hands may find it a bit unnerving to hold in their hand as it may be a bit too close to the blade. For me and my wife I haven’t personally had any issues as we have standard sized hands. The knife arrived in a very nice presentable box and it has a plastic safety cover over the blade. We keep the knife in its original box as it’s so sharp we don’t want to keep it in our regular utensil drawer for fear that someone will cut themselves. All of this is normal for a high-quality chef knife.I would not recommend putting this, or any other high-quality chef knife in the dishwasher. Because the handle is wood dishwashers tend to destroy the finish so we’ve been washing this knife carefully by hand.Overall, I highly recommend this chef knife - it’s reasonably priced for what you get and works exceedingly well for our kitchen needs.

Balanced with a sharp look and edge
This is a great option for your main chef knife. The overall length and shape of the blade is perfect for general chef knife tasks. The two tone finish is very well done. The design is pretty cool with ridges that fan out from the handle . Straight out of the box the silvery steel part of the blade looked a little blemished, but a quick wipe down made it flawless with a reflective shiny finish. The blade is a fairly average weight for a chef knife. It does not feel light and flimsy, but does not feel like it has additional heft if that is what you are looking for. It utilizes 440c japanese high carbon steel which does well for kitchen knives and lasts when cared for. The blade came decently sharp but, as I do with all of my knives, I immediately sharpened it and am happy to report it can take a VERY sharp edge if you want it to. The handle balances the blade great. It also looks and feels quite comfortable. The dark wood with the small color band pair well with the two tone blade. I have found no "cons" to complain about.

Beautiful unique carbon steel knife
This is a beautiful high carbon steel knife. I love the forge scale finish. It comes in a decent gift box, be warned that you will want to unwrap it first and clear all the plastic packaging away from the knife before you give it as a gift. There were thoughtfully placed tip protectors on the blade as pictured. There is a nice red and blue inlay in the handle that looks really sharp. This knife looks at home on my knife strip
