LifeProof Nuud for Apple iPhone 5/5S - White

I liked this case as it had not screen so was more user friendly for the normal day to day functions. It fitted on my bike and didn't seem to mind the odd drop of rain. Then I went on holiday to Portugal, tested it for water protectiveness as per instructions.I waded into the sea with the phone in my swimming trunk back pocket, and after about 15 - 20 mins took the phone out to my a call to my fiancee and it had completely died.This Nuud design does not do what it claims to do, I would strongly advise not buying. I know have to replace my iphone, I doubt Lifeproof will put any money towards this, despite being a loyal customer for many years.I very much doubt I will buy another lifeproof product.

Bought a year ago - was really hoping this case would last longer. Don’t like leaving bad reviews as it’s a great case but also don’t like paying for something that doesn’t last.Sadly after buying 3 cases over the last 3 years all by LifeProof I’ve switched to a much cheaper case and its holding up better.I did like the fact the screen was open but feared it getting scratched.Do your research - it’s a good case but for the price there are better ones.

I love this case. It's actually quite neat and compact considering its waterproof and can be dropped from 2metres. Although I haven't yet dropped it, it's only a matter of time and I have tested it, as suggested, by submerging with a dummy insert for 30 mins and it's 100% waterproof.I am not generally clumsy or accident prone but for some reason my phone and I have history and Imhave to admit that I need more than your average phone protection.!! Having dropped my last iPhone down the loo and dropped it endless times on a hard surface I decided my new phone deserved a foolproof case. I really think I have found one and it's neat and sophisticated grey and white appearance is a bonus.I absolutely love this case.

Poor design - the first one bought from Amazon was not watertight and was replaced the second one is watertight but the design of the case means that it is difficult if not impossible to do an upward swipe to utilise airplay, torch etc on the iPhone.I have always used liteproof on my earlier iPhones and have never had any problems.Other people have also mentioned this problem. It is such a shame as the basic concept of having the screen uncovered is greatI have now heard back from Lifeproof and their attitude is that it is just one of those things and we have to put up with the lack of functionality

The case is very beautiful and has a very nice packaging and all but I cannot give more than one star given that failed its purpose. I don't know if I got unlucky, but spending this much money on a piece of plastic designed to protect my phone from damage and water and then failing in doing so left me very frustrated. Got water damage while using the phone under water normally at depths no greater than 50cm (because it was salty water the phone now is malfunctioning battery and Touch ID wise, fortunately I noticed the water going in and prevented worse damages). I wouldn't recommend this case. If you want to go underwater buy one much cheaper "plastic bag for phone" and avoid stresses. If you want to protect it against damages and dust there are very good options at lower prices.

This Nuud it the best of the Lifeproof iPhone 6s options in my opinion, I had previously bought the Fre but it annoyed me as the cover had a rainbow effect on the screen; not with this one you touch the screen giving you full Apple pleasure with your device.It's had stuff spilt on it and I've dropped it and so far it's done the job perfectly & I expect it will continue to do so.The only negatives I find are that the charger flap is stiff to open (guess it keeps the water out) and sound isn't great, sometimes people who are on hands free when I'm speaking to them on the phone (not hands free/headphones, just as you use a phone) have said I sound muffled) and if you play music on your phone using the phones speaker that's not as clear and the sound seems to come out the back of the phone.It's a small price to pay to protect my expensive iPhone and I love the colour and the fact it's not too bulky.

It's ok I guess... but make no mistake: it really muffles your phone sound in general (obviously as it's sealed) and my silence switch and top volume button don't work properly/at all. If the buttons worked properly and the sound wasn't quite as muffled, I'd love it! Expensive for me not to be satisfied though. If I was out in water with it all the time, it would be more acceptable... but I just need good protection from spills and drops but with a fully functioning phone still... not a phone with a 'wrapped in a blanket' feeling.

I've spent everyday of my holiday in the pool with this case on my iPhone 7 plus. It's bone dry inside. The camera quality is exactly the same as with no case.It's a little big but it's not hard to get in and out of any pocket.I haven't dropped it yet but I have the same case on my iPad Prou dropped that off a stepladder onto a concrete floor at work with no damage. The case isn't even damaged!Would recommend these cases to anybody.
