Comfortable dress for fancy dress party.Good value for money.

Sizing is very good. Material thin some netting underneath but not nearly enough and the neck collar stands proud, excellent. Nylon zip was zipped up to the top on opening packet, but half way down, the both zip sides had come apart, around the waist part. I had problems pulling the zipper toggle down, but managed to get toggle down to bottom and eventually zipped it all way up, but zip kept catching on the inside material and threads as seams were not finished off so threads were catching along with some material. I will make a cloak for when I wear costume at the event to cover back in case of mishaps with zip. But in all fairness it didn’t cost a lot of money, I couldn’t have made it myself any cheaper. So it’s a good buy for the money. It will do the job you want it to do.

So this was for world book day at school. Bit pricey but I noticed most fancy dress items became more expensive in the run up to world book day. Quite well made, apart from the checked collar which appeared to have been made from two pieces of fabric, one black and white, one black and cream (if I'd had more time I would of asked for a replacement) . I'm a size 8, this was size 8/10, little bit big on me and too long, solution to the length, I borrowed a couple of netted tutu's from the drama resource cupboard and wore them underneath to raise the dress up a bit.The crown was cute, I pimped it up a bit with red jewels and playing cards it was comfortable enough to keep on all day.

Cheap but good.

Looks like the picture. Good colours and good value for money. However it comes up large. I bought the small which is supposedly 8-10 but in reality is more like a 12, but nothing a few safety pins couldn’t fix. The netting also doesn’t really work - it makes your hips look huge! But I cut it out and the dress now looks great.

My daughter wore this for world book day. She absolutely loved it and so did her friends and teachers. It is true to size as well, which is great but not tight.

This was a great costume for a young teen girl theater performance which included singing and dancing. The size small fit her perfectly (5’4, about 130lbs, size 4). We altered the skirt to bring it up at the hips for a high-low look and easier movement, just a few stitches, and it held up well. The zipper is a little wonky and tends to split open at times so just know that and have safety pins handy just in case. Excellent purchase, exactly what we needed!
