Fantastic customer service and communication, they really went out of their way to help me. We have used 2 of these so far and it was brilliant. Our oven reaches 280 and the stones were in for around an hour before reaching a temperature that evaporated water as recommended. My tip would be to leave the steak on the stone during eating rather than the way you are shown in restaurants (steak on a side plate with small slices added to a stone as required) as the stone isn’t as hot as you would find in a commercial environment and cools down too quickly not to leave the whole steak cooking. If your oven reaches higher temperatures of course the stone will be hotter. My husband said it was the best steak he had ever had and he loves eating in restaurants with this style of cooking so very successful. Looking forward to experiment with lots of new recipes. And will definitely be investing in more for dinner parties. I would be interested to know if you can get replacement bowls and side plates should they get damaged in the future?

I bought 12 SteakStones in total, as Christmas presents for my kids, spouses and in-laws, and think they were a great success. As far as I know only my daughter and partner are the only ones to have tried them. They agreed they didn't let the stones get hot enough, but still thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
