Strangely, every now and again I need to weigh things when I am out and about so I like to keep a scales in my bag. I have tried a number of luggage scales but they are all too big and cumbersome. I was not expecting too much for the money but I am very pleasantly surprised. It fits my bag perfectly, especially with its fold up hook. It agrees closely with reading from much bigger and more expensive scales. Best of all, pressing and holding the TARE turns off the automatic hold that on other scales so often stops with a reading before I have properly lifted the item.The only downside, as others have mentioned, is that it seems to come with self dissolving batteries. At first I though it was because the power button had got pressed in my bag but in fact it has an excellent auto off whether the button is momentarily pressed or if it is held. I have fitted new batteries and it has continued to delight me for about a month now.

It did the job well furing a recent trip to Tanzania. Light and accurate ie same weight as airport scales.Not easy to weigh heavy cases (23kg) but it is possible and were i to lose it, i would buy the same model.

Terrible product. Do not buy if you have new suitcases as the metal handle can never fit in the suitcase handle for you to lift up and weight it. Extremely pointless product…. :(

Poor quality. Arrived damaged and looks like it has been dropped on it end at some point. Will try and return for a refund.

This is the second set of scales I've purchased due to having lost the previous set. Whilst the scales themselves are fine, this particular set arrived in pieces with crushed/battered batteries (there's probably a good pun in there if you're willing to put the effort in).The contents of the package was the disassembled scales, squashed batteries and instruction manual, as seen in the photos.Overall, be careful when opening and dispose of the batteries provided safely and use some quality ones instead. My rating is low simply due to the potentially dangerous battery problem.

This connects really easily to your suitcase handle making it easy to lift and weigh - previous one I used had a hook that dug into suitcase and felt like it would drop it but no such problem with this one. It's very light and goes easily in your bag to take with you. Most importantly it's dead accurate - exactly matched airline measurement at check-in which previous one always got wrong by a couple kilos, no more worrying about excess charges! Highly recommend!

Brilliant item to have. Its small and lightweight and a must have when on the travels especially with Ryanair who look for any reason to charge if the luggage is over.Well made and quite accurate.
