I'll start with why I did not give the product 5 stars. My only reason is that on the back of one of my hooks, the metal is rough and always snags and rips my yarn. I may contact the seller to see if I could get a replacement.Now onto the good stuff :)The grips are comfy. They are firm but not so hard that they make your fingers sore. They grip well and there are no problems with the rubber texture (some can be sticky or slippy). The shape is comfy and I can hold these correctly (I can't hold pens, cutlery, or knitting needles right due to a joint condition). The hooks work fine, and aside from the one bad hook, they slip in and out of my work easily. The materials feel strong and long lasting. For the money they are brilliant.I would still recommend these despite my one bad hook. I think it may be fine once filed down and it it still usable now. I'll update if I contact the seller.

Sorry about the four stars rather than five. These hooks are absolutely superb for my arthritic hands and I am absolutely loving using them. You hardly have to grip them at all because the handles are so tactile and 'grippy' - hard to describe!The reason for four stars? I picked out a larger hook to use with chunky yarn, only to find it had horrible raised, rough 'catchy bits' on the metal hook bit, which of course makes it impossible to crochet! I thought I would have to send the hooks back, but my bloke managed to smooth the faulty one down with a piece of fine wet & dry sandpaper. However, it's still not perfectly smooth, as of course it needs to be, but I think it will be usable. The other hooks are fine, but this one had very rough areas.I still wouldn't hesitate to buy them again - especially for the very reasonable price they are fantastic hooks.

These are beautiful crochet hooks! The colours and gorgeous and they make it easy to spot which size hook you need.These are the first set of crochet hooks I bought, I was given the metal ones by a lady at work and I would find that after a while my hands would start to ache but not with these ones! The rubber handles make them very comfortable to use and crochet for hours and hours and my hands don't ache at all!I have had these hooks for quite a while now and they are just as beautiful as the day I bought them! The colour hasn't faded at all and the metel part is still firmly attached to the rubber handle.I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again or to buy them for a gift, they are beautiful.

I bought these hooks as my hands were becoming sore from the regular-handled Fusion crochet hooks (the ones without the ergonomic handles).These hooks are very comfortable to hold and my hands don’t become as tired and sore as they did when using the regular hooks.These hooks also have a more pointed tip compared to my other set - I find that this is useful in preventing the yarn from splitting.The only slight downside of this set of hooks compared to the regular Fusion hooks is that there are fewer sizes in this pack. There are 9 sizes in this pack; 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 3.5mm, 4mm, 4.5mm, 5mm, 5.5mm and 6mm (as opposed to the regular-handled hook set which contains 12 hooks up to 8mm). This, however, is not a problem to me.Lovely variety of colours and seem very durable so far. I would definitely recommend these hooks to anyone who crochets.

I now Crochet a huge amount, after returning to work after a gap of some years.I found my forefinger was getting very sore with the pressure of the straightforward steel 4 mm crochet hook. I decided to look for some books with softer grips, and I came across these. They arrived really quickly and I can't tell you the pleasure it is to work with these… They relieve the stress on my fingers the pain in my fingers, and the stress is gone it's like putting on slippers after a day of wearing high heels stilettos . I highly recommend this product. I will just add that for me My yarn loop travelled up the clock and hit the holder like a buffer, slowing down my work at first. My husband back About a centimetre of the soft rubber giving my yarn further to travel without being stopped by the handle. It has not too disfigured hooks in any way.… And this may be a problem unique to me.and the price reduction is fantastic … Cannot recommend these highly enough

These are the third set of crochet hooks I've ordered from Fusion, first for myself and then as my two other crochet mad friends spotted mine they immediately wanted a set of their own. Now, I wouldn't use any other design and are in constant use. Seems I'm becoming a trend setter for Fusion amongst my crocheting friends, which is great!I have recently purchased these fantastic hooks and they really are the most comfortable ones I have found. They are easy to hold even for someone like myself who has arthritus in right hand due to using all metal hooks in the past. Not only are they comfortable, but sizes are clearly on the handle, and the hooks themselves don't 'split' the wool as some do. I would have no hesitation in recommending these hooks to anyone and my friend who I bought a set for has used hers constantly as I have since I purchased them.The price is excellent, quality excellent and with a lifetime guarantee who could seriously ask for anything more?

I decided to take up crochet again, after not having done it for a couple of years. I have had this set for a couple of weeks now, and I am really happy with them. There has been no breakage so far, and I have not experienced the yarn nagging on the hooks as described by other reviewers either.My crochet hand used to get quite sore with the regular thin crochet hooks, and I can literally sit for hours now without any pain. This is a good thing because I am working on a massive throw at the moment. :)The only reason I did not give the product 5 stars is because I would prefer more 'hook' to the needle.Good value for money, and lovely colourful crochet set.
