Exceptional, affordable
I recieved this on time today (via 2-day prime shipping) and it looks fantastic. The burgundy is a deeper colour than is depicted, some may find this to be an issue but I did not. The maximum neck size is 18 1/2, but can be brought down to 14 1/2. It is 100% microfibre and it has a more formal texture and sheen (as opposed to linen), similar to satin silk. I would definitely recommend this tie to anyone who needs one.Edit: I found the first one nice enough that I purchased the navy/dots one also. It displays the same quality as the first and I cannot recommend these enough as an affordable tie that looks very nice. I wore the burgundy tie to church this weekend and received compliments on it. Very well worth the $12 or so if you need a nice, cheap bow tie.

It was a shot in the dark, but I like this lil tie
I have never worn a bow tie before, but at 49 years old I am trying to get into them. This one was easy to learn on. I have bought a few silk ones already, and I do like them better, but this is a great intro to bowties for the price! I recommend it, even though it is microfiber and not silk. Just looks slightly less formal, but still nice enough.

Plenty for me
I realized when a friend came to me for advice building a cosplay that, despite my science nerd reputation, I have survived these many years without learning to tie a bow tie. I ordered the Luther Pike tie specifically to learn. Good choice. After an evening practicing with internet videos, I can now tie one with my eyes closed (it's actually easier than using a mirror). I am ready to joint the likes of Bill Nye and Young Sheldon. The Luther Pike tie has a slick, shiny microfiber surface well suited to its purpose. The back adjusts for neck size with little buttonholes, a square ring and a T-shaped clap. I chose bright red, but there are many colors and patterns. Good value for less than twelve bucks.

Kind of small for an adult male
I couldn’t get it to tie, so I compared it to another bow tie I purchased and can see this one is a bit smaller. Like an inch. I have a 17.5” neck and need a full size bow tie. I love the color and pattern. The quality is great from what I can tell. Maybe I’ll give it to my son.

This bowtie will make you feel like a million bucks!
I recently went to a family function (milestone birthday bash) - and while everyone was wearing nice attire, including neckties - I was the only dude wearing this gorgeous navy blue bowtie. I received lots of smiles, side glances, and compliments by everyone (friends and family) for my charming attire. Then a certain someone jokingly/jealously made the snark remark, "nice CLIP-ON bowtie, dude!"...and as if by magic, I pulled on one of the ends of the bowtie, and I slowly and elegantly unraveled the bowtie. Everyone was thoroughly impressed, and the dude, not so much.To add a little more oomph to my impromptu audience, I proceeded to tie it - in one fell swoop. So, fellas: just buy this bowtie, and you'll feel great about buying it. Cheers! :-)
