Kentrol Backside License Plate Mount with LED's 80707

I have been looking for a license plate mount for some time. I wanted one that included the brake light and license plate light, but I didn't necessarily want the item branded with a particular companies logo like many are. I will say that I almost ordered the wrong product initially due to there being two different items based on the year of your jeep.Overall I'm happy with the purchase but there are a few things I would do differently. 1. The wires for connection from the mount are really small and thin. I know it doesn't take much to power an LED but these are really small and kind of difficult to crimp. 2. It uses the existing bolts from the spare tire holder. Not a huge deal, but if yours are anything like mine they are kind of worn with age. I think a new set of matching bolt heads would be a nice inclusion in the package. 3. The printed directions included are really difficult to read and follow. There is a great installation video online and that's really what I referenced for install.Had the whole thing installed in around an hour. It's easily a one man job, although I did have the help of a friend. I would recommend the product.

1-2 beer Install, easily done with simple handtools and a tiny bit of electrical knowledge. Overall the product is sturdy, clean looking, and maintains the plate light as well as the brake light. I will note that the white led plate light is VERY bright. No one will mistaken it for a reverse light, but it certainly illuminates the ground directly behind the rear bumper. Also the added hole plugs are a great touch.

This is the only relocation bracket with everything and legal great pricebut led tag light is purple and my Jeep is black and red so I returned it, purple not my color either f light was white or even a yellow tint I would have kept it

Perfect fit on my jeep jk! Instructions could be a little better and it could come with a cover for where the original liscense plate holder was mounted so you dont have to buy a separate one but other than that everything was perfect!

If you have a '09 JK you really have to make sure what kind of opening you need on your back plate mount. '07s to early-made 09s will need this part while late-made 09s and up will have the horizontal vent and will need the one advertised for 2010 models and up. I know this because I have an '09 JK and am dealing with that right know. After I disasembled everything, I found out that the part does not fit. I'm in the process of returning the part and buying the correct one.

I love the light design on this plate but I hate how they expect you to attach a license plate to it. It comes with screws and nuts. So you have to detach half of the thing to change out your license plate. Other than that I love it.

Just installed delete mount. Honestly not difficult to install. The most difficult part was installing the wiring. The wires I believe are 22 gage, the wiring on the Jeep are 18 gage. So if your using quick wire connectors get the red ones. Makes life easier. Project took about 1hr.

Took a little while to install with all the direction, but really turned out nice. The white reverse light is bright, lights up everything behind my Jeep!

Great fit and finish, instructions were thorough, although the pics in the instructions were too dark to be of much use. The tailgate plugs that come in the kit are a poor fit and cheap plastic.
