This product arrived within 4 days of my order and once I opened up the package I could immediately smell the thick leather and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of craftmanship. It is double stitched on the top and is well worth the money spent. I am purchasing more for all the men in the family. I picture the "Marlboro Man" owning one of these. Larger than expected too.

The quality is very good. I added the leather conditioner and it helped a lot. The bag is huge though. The dimensions don't do it justice. This bag is LARGE.

Heavy duty, rustic and great capacity. Love the heavy leather and capacity. However, it does take up a lot of room in the suitcase, so if you’re looking for compact, get something smaller.

Once you can soften up the leather and it takes its intended shape, it's great! But, it takes a lot of time, effort, and patience to get there. More than I think anyone should.When I got this item, I was disappointed by its condition. It was smashed pretty flat in a plastic "bag." Then, when I went to remove it from the packaging, I noticed it was pretty much hard as a rock. Felt like I was dealing with rawhide. Since the leather was so dry and so hard, it refused to assume its normal shape. I wound up stuffing it with small towels, and applying leather conditioner to it every other day to get it to soften up and take its normal shape. It has a great amount of carrying capacity. I love the three big compartments; I can keep some things separated from others, especially items which may not respond well to changes in pressure.If you don't mind the effort involved with this Dopp kit, go for it. If you'd rather not have to expend the effort, you might want to consider something else.
