Hardy watch with nice style
Hardy watch. I'm on my second one only because my last was was too beat up to be able to read the face anymore. I've worn this watch through everything I do. I am a fire fighter and I wear it all day at work, at the lake, mt. biking, you name it. Has not given me any trouble. Only negative thing I could say is that the little band that holds the excess watch band had broke pretty early on for me. Allowing the excess to flop around and get caught on things. Had to come up with something on my own to fix this problem.

Another great Freestyle watch
I've had this watch for over a year now and still love it for daily use, running workouts and water sports. My first Freestyle was the Shark Buzz, which I loved, but the wrist band on the Buzz eventually wore out and the case cracked. This Mariner watch has a more flexible band and seems to be lasting well. I was worried about choosing the black background, but I have found it to be easy to ready in all usages.

Nice design, strap is good for run
Nice design, strap is good for run. I did not like screen after 1 day it was scratched. Screen quality is low...Definitily I would not buy it for screen reason.

Nice watch, but not as good as I expected
I have worn Ironman watches for years, but thought that I'd try something new this time around. This watch seemed like a nice alternative. It has the functionality that I needed, stop-watch, count-down timer, multiple time zones (two), and waterproofing. It is attractive and comfortable. It is advertised as having a "crystal" face. It seems to be more like plastic to me. Mine has a number of small scratches from day to day use already. The band is also a lint-magnet. I prefer the materials used in the Ironman bands instead. The watch is also large enough that it doesn't fit well under the cuffs of long sleeved shirts. Overall, it's a nice watch with some minor issues. Time will tell as to how well it will hold up.

Not Waterproof
I liked the watch at first and was excited to use it on camping trips. But, the first trip I went on was a rafting trip and on the second day the watch face started to fog up and by the second day the watch was completely dead. I tried to return to Freestyle to get a replacement but its been 5 months now with no response. For a watch called the "Mariner", you'd think it would be water resistant. But, it's not. DON'T BUY, unless you plan on never getting it wet.

Solid Performer, watch band is a big weakness.
Works flawlessly, very intuitive interface, does every thing it should. I like the wristband. It acts like it has a high silicone content. Very comfortable to wear.Sadly, after wearing for a year, the watch band broke, rendering the watch useless. I was quoted $54 to replace the band which exceeded the original purchase price. Disappointing end to a nice run. I have to consider longevity when determining value.

Easy to read, easy to use - great for the outdoors
I have worn this out on the trail several times - it has been through terrible weather (lots of rain) and held up well. I like how big the numbers are. I am a search and rescue volunteer and it's great that the seconds are so easy to read - I can use it while taking a pulse or respiratory readings.

I love it
I needed a basic Sport's Watch that would provide Timer, Chronograph, and Alarm functions and found one. Not overly fancy or complicated, just back to the basics and good for the price. Good material, have owned it for several months and no problems.

My son uses thiswatch for his sailboat racing
My son uses this watch for his sailboat racing. Works great, waterproof and easy to read. He likes it and finds it easy to use when racing for timing the start and timing the marks. The sound is a bit quite but it works.

Gutes Design, aber wenig Funktionalität
Schlichtes Design. Bequem zu tragen, Optimale Größe. 2 Zeitzonen. Die Funktionalität ist aber schwach! Wenig Einstellungen, die man ändern kann. Dafür solle sie nicht mehr als 20$ kosten.Vorbild sollte Timex Ironman sein, dann wäre die Uhr in eigener Preisklasse top!

I like it.
Really happy with this watch so far. Yeah, the light isn't very bright but I got used to it. The watch band is comfortable. The controls are easy to use. I don't normaly wear a watch but I bought this to use when I am out on the water. Now I use it when I go for hikes and long walks as well.

Reverts back to regular display if you wait too long.
It works well enough. It is waterproof as promised, as mine has spent considerable time in the water, as I sail tippy sailboats. it's cheap, and you can do a 5 minute sailboat race countdown. My one niggle is that when you select chronograph, after a couple of minutes, it reverts back to the normal display. At that point, you miss the race countdown as you fidget with the buttons to get it back into chronograph mode. I would prefer that it stay in your set mode until you deliberately switch modes.

Mariner sailing watch
The watch was as described and arrived well wrapped and in good time as a birthday gift. The user instructions and warranty had to be downloaded on line, which made the first experiments in using it a bit of an adventure. The watch face seems rather dimly illuminated. Otherwise an excellent watch, neat, waterproof, lightweight and with all the necessary functions
