virtually indestructible
I have a 9 mo rat terrier who eats and destroys EVERY TOY WE BUY HIM. We have to order the Extreme Kong toys in a size larger because he shreds the ones made for a dog his size. No toy is safe. The Quizl doesn't have a dent. And it's not hard on his teeth! My nail can make a dent. It keeps him busy for hours. The trick is finding treats that will get through the ends into the center of the Quizl without breaking or crumbling. I recommend buying the West Paw Pork "Just 6 Things" or the Wellness crunchy treats to go inside it. Then stick a few of the Wellness soft salmon treats in the little slots in the end. Magic. I love this puppy with my whole heart, but I may die of exhaustion trying to keep him busy... the Quizl is a sanity-saver.

Great for inserting greenie
We insert a petite size greenie into these (get it wet first to slide it in), and then give to the dog. It makes the greenie last lots longer, and gives him some good play/puzzle time trying to get it out. He knows when it's time for him to have it, and asks EVERY SINGLE DAY for it!Unfortunately, since he has great bite strength with strong pointy teeth, and chews on these mercilessly to get the greenie out, these don't last forever. That said, we feel they last long enough to be worth it before they fall apart. One note: our dog does chew off some pieces of this toy as he works on it, but he just spits them out. But you should probably monitor your dog at first to make sure they're not eating any bits they might get off it.

Sturdy treat toy.
I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback and he destroyed everything I would get him. But he seems to enjoy this toy. It's rugged and fun. I wish the side suits were a little smaller so his treats are harder for him to get out.

My dog likes it!!
It was a little larger than I expected, but my dog enjoys chewing and playing fetch with it. She is a very aggressive chewer and I will say that it is not a sturdy as Kong. She has had Kongs for several months and they have held up very well. Within three days she had a chunk gnawed out of this toy. It works well for putting treats in and gives her a little mental exercise trying to get them out.

Staffie ....Need I say more
Our 18 month old American Staffie is a toy destroyer. Nothing stands up to his chewing, but some things do slow him down. This is one of the longest lasting toys we have purchased in the last year. Just like black Kongs (also recommended) this took the abuse for months before having to be taken away. Just a quick note, this was not his only toy at the time, so if he has focused all his chewing attention, this review might be a little different, however this toy has impressive durability.

What to put in this??
I put a stick treat in this and even the dogs couldn't get the middle part out. This doesn't bend at all. It is very hard. I don't know what to put in this that makes it a nice chew for the dogs, but allows them to get the complete treat out. I stopped putting treats in it and now it is just a chew toy for them.

Very durable
Our puppy is a toy destroyer. She can destroy a toy in minutes or hours. But this toy is different. She's had it for months and it's still in one piece. This is the second one we've bought. The first one lasted for two years. And she plays with it every day!

The media could not be loaded. Parfait pour mon chien (Petit Epagneul de Mûnster) de 8 mois. Suffisamment robuste pour durer des années... Mon chien s'est tout suite amusé, surtout quand il y a des friandises dedans...

Habe endlich eine Möglichkeit gefunden, ihn zu füllen!//Finally found a way to fill it!
Perfekt!Vorteile:- robust- bietet richtig genutzt lange BeschäftigungNachteile:- schwer, richtig zu füllen- umgefüllt uninteressant für den Hund.- hoher Preis// English //The Westpaw Qwizl is notorious for being super sturdy and has also proven this quality against the teeth of my dog, no need to further elaborate on that. What most dog owners forget, however, is that it's super hard to fill. Thin treats can be gotten out by the dog in a matter of seconds. Thicker treats that are stuck will frustrate the dog until it gives up. I am happy to announce that after months of trying out the Qwizl, i finally found THE solution: thin treats, but frozen in place with wet dog food or peanut butter. Result: a dog that is busy for a long time, but without frustration. A happy dog. And a happy owner.

This one lasts!
We get through LOTS of toys for our staffie, but this one really has held up. Our main consideration when purchasing toys for him is how they effect his teeth. He's a rescue boy with some worn down areas on his canines. So we always look for a toy that is flexible but not flimsy and a toy which can hold up to his chewing without damaging his teeth. This one mets all the needs. We stuff dry food kibble inside, chunks of chicken and paste. The size slots at the sides and holes at the each end give different options. He has mastered the squeeze technic to get what's inside. It's not too easy and not too difficult for him to master and is safe for him. This is his go to treat toy. It might seem be a bit pricey, but considering all the other toys last just minutes, this has been worth it.
