I have been lugging around an old (heavy) tripod for a few years now, envying many other twitchers with their expensive equipment. As the body is not getting any younger I decided to splash out on a new lightweight tripod. Having, taken some advice for some experts at a wildlife trust centre we frequent, I got the chance to see, feel and hold a Celestron trail seeker and was amazed with how sturdy and light it was. After checking around I found that the best deal for me was with Amazon and within a few days my tripod arrived. It was easy to set up and even with my spotting scope attached it felt far more comfortable and lightweight than before. I already had a carrying harness and my new tripod fitted it perfectly. It’s so comfortable to carry around now. I have used it both outdoors and inside various different bird hides and it was so easy to set up and use. It’s a stable platform enabling easy clear spotting. I also found it a good base for a webcam that I use for social on-line get togethers with friends who are still home-bound due to health, care and children issues. Top notch I thoroughly recommend this reasonably priced scope.

Excellent tripod. Finding a spare quick-release plate proved very tricky, however, as Celestron don't explain anywhere which model is used. Having a spare is really helpful if you have multiple scopes, or use the tripod for your another device (camera, iPhone mount, etc). After a lot of searching and experimentation I discovered that you need a Quick Release Plate for an S2 Video Head. I hope this is helpful for someone!

Very stable smooth panning, but does not fold to a short length for a medium size suitcase

Spent a long time researching as for someone 6ft 4 tall & wanted for use on all terrain . He is very pleased with it, esp with the height it extends to & the ease of putting up & being so lightweight with a carry bag . Price is worth it for the quality...

fantastic, I use this with my Celestron spotting scope and my daughter uses it with her camera. Compact and easy to set up. good quality.

This is a great tripod. It's solid and stable and pretty light. Used it with my camera but should do very well with high powered binoculars as well. I would highly recommend it

La calidad del producto no se aprecia hasta que se experimenta como aprovecharlo, puesto que el manual es increíblemente parco e impreciso en cuanto a como armar el aparato y usarlo de manera apropiada. Por ejemplo dice: levante las pestañas de las patas para ajustar su dimensión , uno levanta la pestaña y sientes que está fija, debe decir: tome una llave Allen afloje el tornillo y levante la pestaña, y así sucesivamente, conclusión reprobado Celestron en sus manuales.

The media could not be loaded.  Buon treppiede solido, stabile, una garanzia Celestron insomma, si presenta lineare nei suoi movimenti con una testa di buona fattura. La costruzione ed i materiali sono di buona qualità, è leggero ma robusto, ha un facile sistema di sgancio rapido con sicurezza senza rischiare di far cadere il cannocchiale. Io lo uso per il mio Celestron C90 Mak e si comporta bene, stabile, si può bloccare il pan scansionando in modo lineare l'orizzonte mantenendo fissa l'altezza che può essere regolata con un'altra manopolina, ha i piedi gommati e svitabili come nella foto postata con punta d'acciaio per terreni morbidi. Regolabile il movimento della testa da più fluido a più burroso, buona custodia da trasporto con un taschino interno dove sono presenti le chiavi per stringere le giunture, buona anche la tracolla. L'estensione dei piedi è ottima e regolabile su ogni tipo di terreno non livellato, ha la bolla livellatrice e la testa può essere anche capovolta, una specifica davvero non scontata questa, molto particolare; ha anche un gancetto per renderlo ancora più stabile appendendo un peso.Tirando le somme è un ottimo prodotto, mi trovo bene nel suo uso semplice e quasi quotidiano, non mostra criticità quindi lo consiglio.
