This is a lot nicer than I expected for the price. The velvet fabric is thick and plush. The gold embellishments are well done and even the seams have sparkly gold piping as a finish, as you can see in one of my photos. I included a pic of the zipper, which opens and closes smoothly though is a bit tiny. Also, this is a vintage red, more of a deep rich burgundy like you would have seen in mid-century homes at Christmas when I was a kid. (That’s the color I was hoping for.) I ordered a 22 x 22 pillow insert for the cover, which is 20 x20. I was worried the insert would be too large but I had no trouble getting the cover on. I like the plumpness for what I’m only using as a decorative pillow. I think a 20 x 20 insert would work just fine if you wanted a flatter look, but you may or may not have a little extra fabric at the corners. I expect this to last a good many years.

This pillow cover is so beautiful and soft. The workmanship is impeccable and worth every penny. I LOVE IT!! The downside for me is this cover was not the one I intended to purchase. It does not go with my decor.I am so disappointed because it is so nice. The embroidery is excellent. I wish I could use it somewhere in my house but I have no use for it. You will not be disappointed with this purchase. I highly recommend!

This pillow cover looks more expensive than it is. Beautiful velvet material that looks rich in a dark red. Worth the purchase!

The pillow case cover is beautiful. It has a rich red color with gold embroidery. I especially like the binding sewn around the perimeter. It gives it a finished detail and makes it look like a very well made pillow cover. Now if only the opening was in the center back, instead of a zipper, I would be able to get the pillow insert inside really fast. That's only a small matter and no one should hesitate to buy this. Thank you very much. I'm very happy with my purchase and can't wait to use it. Should I use a 20x20 or 22x22 insert? I can't decide which to order.

This looked so nice for my usual couch pillows to turn them into a beautiful Christmas decoration. Very classy looking.

This cover is soft, velvet texture. The quality is top notch. the only thing is that the color is darker in person, leaning to wine...It looks more red in the picture.

An elegant holiday cover for my pillow on my sofa. I have two plain covers on two pillows, added this one to the third for the center. It was hard to put on and take off the original pillow that came with the sofa, but so worth the fight, only because the zipper could have been a bit wider. Received lots of compliments on it and know I will be enjoying this cover for a few years!

I ordered 1 of the grey/silver "Snowflake Wreath" and 2 of the blue/silver "Snowflake - Blue" pillow. (Sorry no pictures at this time.) They arrived within 2 days (as they were sold via Amazon) and they came VERY well packed in a box of their own. The pillows are lovely - they are a velvety material and the "wreath" and "snowflakes" are embroidered onto the material, very well done. They have a nice cord around the edges and are constructed very sturdily. I am extremely pleased with this purchase and would highly suggest you purchase these pillows (if you want) with confidence!

The white and blue I ordered: Expensive, but so lovely. Thick, durable and soft material. Well made. Looks great.The red one: I don’t know whether it is good quality because I haven’t used it yet - it smells awful! It also took forever to get here (from China). It is NOT “Homey Cozy” brand (see photo). Obviously this is why it was cheaper. :(
