Dog Chew Toys, Dog Toys for Aggressive Chewers Large Breed, Multifunctional Teeth Cleaning and Gum Massage, Tough Dog Toys with Natural Rubber for Large and Medium Small Dog

I am VERY particular with the type of toys I purchase for my dogs. As a veterinary technician, I have seen too many foreign bodies on dogs that ate pieces of “indestructible” toys and too many cracked teeth due to toys that were way too hard.This toy is great because it meets my criteria:It’s difficult to destroy (I’m not going to say it’s “indestructible” because I’m sure there is a doggo out there that would prove me wrong!). My dog is a fairly aggressive chewer and this bone is standing up to her nibbling very well. Minus some teeth indents, it is still very much in one piece. The durability reminds me of the Kong brand rubber toys, which are great!It’s not too hard. The general rule when picking out dog chew toys is that if you tap it gently against your knee and it hurts, it’s too hard for your dog to be chewing on. That hard of a toy is likely to cause fractures and detrimental wear and tear on your dog’s teeth. This toy is made of a hefty rubber material that is durable without being too hard. It does have some softness and “give” to it. This is why my dog is able to leave some teeth indents in the toy when she’s chewing, which is okay.The other thing I like about this toy is that it is a nice shape and size. My dog is medium sized (approx 21kg) and she can carry it around and hold it in her mouth comfortably. It also has small raised nubbins all over it, which act as an almost toothbrush and are great for keeping my dog's teeth clean while she chews.It had a bit of an odour to it when we unpackaged it. Maybe that was the “beef smell”? I’m not sure and, in all honesty, my dog wasn’t sure either at first lol!I will admit, this is not my dog’s favourite, “go to” toy (although I wish it was), but it’s still in her top 3 favourite at the moment.

My dog managed to destroy this in a couple of days.

Also wie das angegeben ist das es was für extreme Kauer wäre ist echt ein schlechter Scherz...meine 8 Monate junge Hündin hat ihn binnen zwei Tagen komplett zerlegt! Auch wenn er aus Naturkautschuk ist wäre oder ist es bestimmt nicht förderlich das Sie auch teilweise etwas davon runter geschluckt hat. Sie hat ihn allerdings sehr gerne angenommen und nicht jeder Hund schluckt etwas davon runter, von daher will ich den Artikel auch nicht komplett schlecht reden, habe halt nur damit gerechnet das er doch etwas länger hält...

My Border Collies love it. Had six months already and almost as good as new.

My dog is a rescue dog, he was a stray. He doesn't understand play or toys. It's actually quite sad but I'll keep trying. He is also a very aggressive chewer. I am so impressed. Buddy has had this 4 days now and hasn't even made the slightest mark on it, even though he hasn't left it alone. It is so sturdy and durable and I recommend for the strongest of chewers.
