This is a great idea with bad execution. The adhesive is weak, so the lights keep coming off of my helmet.

Functionality it lights up fine and looks great. In practice it could be better, even on a freshly cleaned helmet it starts to peel off before I even got to ride with it on.

Tape didn't hold atall

So overall the design is good if you had a solid helmet but for helmets with the flip up front, your limited on how you can put it on. One side of my helmet has a switch for the sun shade visor and I had to cut part of the tape to make it fit. Not the manufacturers fault but still. Visibility is good but like others have said, alot of wires poking out. I ended up using a little black duct tape to cover the wires so they didn't stick out. Havnt used it in the rain yet so I don't know if it will stay. Fingers crossed.

So bought this back a couple months ago, figured it's cheap and I wanted to see how LED lights looked on my helmet before committing to an expensive version. The first issue is it doesn't exactly contour to all full-face helmets great depending on which helmet you've got. I could somewhat make it work for my helmet but still didn't fit quite right. Second issue is the tape came up around the front of my helmet I had to pat it down before every ride. Third issue is the wiring is way too much while I appreciate extra wiring in certain occasions on a motorcycle helmet is not great. Final issue is after about a month one side of lights went out. I didn't see a loose connector and I redid the connection and still didn't turn on, so the issue is internal I didn't drop my helmet or mistreat it in any way. All that said what I liked about it is at night it did look good and was plenty bright got a lot of compliments. If you really want helmet lights and are strapped for cash these will work for a bit for you. Holds a charge for several hours of use. So, my suggestion is if you just want something you can use a couple times it's fine like you want to go to like Bike week in Daytona or something it's fine for that, if you want some lighting long term however, I'd be looking at the $200 helmet lights, they look better, have more customization options and have warranties.

The media could not be loaded.  The glue doesn’t keep. I cleaned my helmet very well with alcohol and let it dry and the ends were peeling off. I kept pushing down so it can stick. I used it 2 times and because it kept peeling the light didn’t work on one side. I then rubbed the strip and crazy glued the ends so it didn’t bend and now have a piece that is black. Other than that, it’s good for riding at night. I like the flashing feature which can be used in case of an emergency. I have a modular helmet and used the shorter strip at the bottom part of the helmet.

The price looked good, and they look great on the helmet, but the battery life quickly went from 8 hrs, to maybe 20 minutes, and I've had the set for only about a month. Really a shame. I just can't recommend this product.
