Questionable value
I have numerous diecast 1/18 scale Corvette's made by Maisto. These were purchased at Sam's for less than $20 each. They have doors, hoods, back hatch and T-tops that come off. They have nicely done interiors, detail motor under hood and detail back compartments and bottom chassis detail with some chromed. These cars have spring suspension all 4 wheels and the front wheels and steering wheel function. Paint quality is satisfactory. The wheels all run true. Great value for $17 at a store and I think around $35 on the net. I buy this Norev Corvette for $113.05, (car approx $79, plus freight/tax). I considered it a rather costly car. With a fancy name like Norev, I was expecting a supremely done car. I was very surprised to see that nothing opens. Looking in the windows the interior looks nicely detailed, but you cannot open the doors or roof to really see it. If you twist the front wheels, you can see the steering wheel turn. But you cannot access the steering wheel. The back tires wobble horribly. No springs in the suspension. No chromed details on the under carriage. Since the hood does not open, there is no engine to see. The Maisto cars have a nicely detailed engine. The cost to manufacture should be dramatically less than a Msisto. Both come from overseas, so asdociated costs are part of the cost. I cannot see how you can rationalize the disparity in product and cost. My only compliment is the body is beautifully rendered with nice paint. If it cost $35 and next to a Maisto with all the function and detail, it would appear to be a bad deal. Since it cost almost $80, and final price of $113.05 I am lost in finding anyway to recommend this product. If there is a justification I have overlooked, please enlighten me.Thank you,Terry AdamsHouma, La

Extremely Plain
Nothing opens. There is no way to see the interior. The model is overly simplistic for this price point.
