This book is a treasure
I'm not usually a poetry person and I have never bought a book of poems before. I got this for my mother for Christmas after seeing some of Brian's poems on Facebook. She's really enjoying reading one each day on the appropriate day. I read a lot of them before I gave it to her and they are very clever and quite delightful. This book would make a wonderful gift for anyone who loves words and anyone who needs to cultivate a love of words. Highly recommended!

Having discovered the delights of Brian Bilston's poem of the day on twitter - always so clever and pertinent, I couldn't wait to buy the book. I love dipping in and out, discovering each "on this day" story. Funny, poignant, and eclectic, this is a lovely collection.
