Creative MUVO 2 Portable Water Resistant Bluetooth Speaker with Built-In MP3 Player - Red

Great little speaker on it's own. For bluetooth stereo add a second one. Both are light enough to be portable. I bought two and use them to get stereo sound with a little Sandisk mp3 player using bluetooth. Super delighted with these. Been using them for a dance class in a large studio - quality sound, good base, good volume. Instructions super easy to follow. Had contacted Creative directly beforehand for advice as I had been trying to get bluetooth stereo from two of their older generation speakers - they pointed me to several options including these speakers.

I have always been supporter/customer of Creative and since i had my first desktop pc, i have been always buying their soundcards, speakers, mp3 players, or earphones. I always considered them to be one of the best in the sound, especially regarding pc equipment. So when i decided to get my first bluetooth speaker this was the first company that i had in my mind. I was searching for a not too expensive, waterproof and dust resistant speaker, as it would be used mainly at my workplace, where various things might happen to it. I was deciding between this one and iRoar Go and since the latter was costing a bit too much for a speaker that might get destroyed soon, i decided to go with this one.Firstly, I am gonna write about the negatives, as i did get quite upset after the first use.On the manufacturer's website it states that the battery should last 10 hours and although i know that it's just an advert and various factors sum for the actual time of use, i was expecting at least around 8 hours from such a reputable brand as Creative.After being fully charged and listened at the maximum volume it lasted exactly 5.5 hours, which is only 50% of advertised time! That's quite disappointing, as it's not such a big speaker to consume that much energy...Another issue is that the speaker moves around and slides off the surface and falls down occasionally, even from the completely flat surface... Maybe, it has to be glass, or metal then it would be more stable, but from wooden and plastic surfaces it slides off!It's due to bass being really powerful for such a small device...On a positive matter, i must admit that the sound is being of a very good quality, but that was expected after so many years being in this industry.Overally, i am disappointed with this product and now i cannot even return it, cause it fell down on 4 occasions in one 8 hour music session and got scratched and bumped. I am gonna try to resell it for half-price to somebody and will try getting the iRoar Go this time, hoping that it will be more stable with a more powerful battery... I hope that it will actually shine some light on this speaker, in the wake of all the positive reviews.

Incredible quality player. Sound is beautiful.
