Thick cotton fabric, free size, good for maternity.

The size did not match with the product. The fabric was not as expected. It was too thick. Not suitable for summer.

I love this nightgown, it is soft and very light, considering how long it is. It is the perfect one for the fall/winter season, staying all cozy in my La-Z-Boy. The fabric isn't very thin, so it might not be the right one for summer. I love the pockets because I usually carry tissues around with me and the deep red color totally caught my eye. I'm a size 14-16 and I ordered a size L (according to their size chart) because I want my PJs and nightgowns to be flowy and loose. On the pics, you can see how long it is (I'm 5'2) and the adorable and useful pockets.

The product details specified that while the solid color nightgowns were 60/40 cotton/poly blend, the (ugly) striped ones were 100% cotton. So I ordered a striped one. I'd suffer looking like an Italian prisoner in the 1940s in order to wear 100% cotton. But THEY LIED. In addition to being ugly stripes, the striped nightgown is clearly a mix of cotton with some poly fabric that makes it stretchy. Plus whoever designed this with hard wooden buttons in the front to dig into you at night is an idiot.

I bought this for if I had to stay the overnight in hospital, mainly because it was billowy and not see-though and I hate hospital gowns. I didn't use it for that because I was released, but very pleased with how it fits, how soft it was, and how modest it was, without being restricting. I used it for my first walk around in public after my hysterectomy, which was great because it wasn't an obvious nightgown and wasn't annoying to my post-op super-sensitivity.

This is a great nightgown, & super comfortable. It's nice & thick but not too hot. I love that it has pockets too! I couldn't get a full length picture but it goes down a few inches above my ankles. I am 5'7 for length reference.

I have ordered the black gown three times. I kept the first one in large, because that seem OK and washed good and seems cotton even though there is polyester in it. I ordered extra large and that seemed thinner and more polyester. I returned that one. I ordered the large again which just came today and that one now seems thinner and more polyester than the first one I got. There must be a change in the fabric. I will keep this one, the striped ones are definitely more cotton feeling. Those are OK. I am 5‘5“ and the front and back of the gown come about three or 4 inches above my ankle which is good. I wear the black one out to my doctor appointment because I have a broken shoulder and broken kneecap, so easy to put on and looks pretty much like a dress, T-shirt like. There needs to be more honesty about fabric content. I do not trust the descriptions anymore when it comes to the fabric content on many of these type of items that come from China
