Because of the "curl" on the steering wheel side the the dash, most clamp-on phone holders aren't stable. Vent holders - block vents, cup holders are to far away. Put this sucker on the Right hand hold - IT WORKS. run cord over top of steering column (I'm going to hard wire bracket - easy access on right side of wheel). doesn't block vent - easy to see. This info is based on 2023 F150.

Stay away from it. It is a waste of money.The product worked well only for a month or so. The springs on the dashboard clamp now are loosing so the holder falls off dashboard every time I make a turn. The screw for tilt is loosing too. I have to tight it from time to time otherwise the holder can not hold the phone to my view angle.

If you drive a Porche Macan, you know they did not design the dash to hold a cell phone mount. This mount does not fit the dash on a Porche Macan very well, although it says it is compatible and even shows a Macan in the photo. If you do install it according to the instructions, be aware that the sharp edges on the back can and will dig into the leather on the dash, leaving it scratched. We actually found a way to use it sort of upside down and applied some alien tape to the sharp edges to preserve the dash board. However, after a couple weeks of use, the mount actually broke off the base and cannot be reattached. I actually ended up replacing it with a vent mount that has a hook to secure to the vent.

I was pleased with the product BUT mine broke. The flaw to this product is that it is made out of plastic in the wrong place, if you take yours on and off like i do on a daily basis the plastic hinges close to the metal springs will eventually crack or give in do to the pressure from the spring 🤔😒

Did not work with the truck. We have a Toyota.

Everything about this mount is on point but it just needs to be thicker/better plastic quality in order to hold up a phone like Samsung Ultra S23. I had to go through and locktite at the screws into a set position because of the heat through the windshield from the sun repeatedly everyday on it made it weak to the point it would not stay in place without the locktite. Great design just in my opinion for me to buy another one needs to be thicker stronger plastic and I'd be happy to write another review. I drive a lot so it got used 12+ hrs a day for a month before the plastic broke.

Does not stay clamped to dash. Popped off and phone fell hitting screen on the center console cracking it. Also had to use it with phone case off bc would not fit iPhone if case was on so I had no protection when it popped off🤦🏼‍♀️

Make sure all adjusting screws are tight. If you are using phone for GPS the vibration from the road will cause your phone to move.
