Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations (PS3)

Wanted a different game to play on the wii u other than Mario Kart 8. I am an older player. I love watching this program on tv, so thought I would give it a go. It has all the usual characters and witty one liners from Jake and Finn, it actually made me laugh in places. The game is an investigation format, find clues, find items, solve cases. The story dialogue can be a little tedious, but necessary to gain information. But the actual game play is good fun and not always as easy as you think it's going to be. I would recommend this if you are a fan of "Adventure Time!".

Having played the other last two Adventure Time games, one thing is for sure, this one is for the younger players though still really fun. This time it is on a point and click style adventure that the duo goes. The graphics are neat, the sound is awesome, using the show voices, and with plenty of laughs. You explore a 3D world with references of the show, characters and jokes.

Some of the adventure time games of the past haven't really been all that good, the series has been trying to find which genre defines them best and they've struck gold with this investigation game. Discover the land of Ooo and all it's colourful residents in this easy to pick up hard to put down fully 3D investigation puzzle game. HINTS: there is no chapter select so you have to lesson to Finns radio (in his bedroom) before every investigation in order to get the radio achievement, there are three snails to find per investigation and I probably don't have to say this but I only realised right near the end of the game but Y is run lol

My children love this game (6 and 8). As adventure time watchers, they enjoy playing this. The graphics are actually very good and clear too. Keeps them busy as there is lots of clues and things to do. Occasionally they get a bit stuck for what to do as they don't always find the clues straight away or get distracted with other bits and then forget what to do. But over all actually a very good game that uses the brain to figure things out.

My son liked this, but it seemed a bit boring to me. Basically a point and click adventure of the past, but using a controller of course.

I was really disappointed by this game, this has so much potential to be a great game. It felt like it was rushed into production, no real feel to the adventure time world

This ame kept my kids occupied for a while and although some of the camera angles were a little annoying the gameplay was good
