Married to a Pirate: A Dark Fantasy Romance (Romancing the Seas)

Different
Good a kept you interested in the story and the characters even though it was easy to figure some “secrets” out rather early on.

A fun spin on pirates, sirens, and royalty.
I enjoyed reading this book filled with lost princess, sirens, and pirates all around. Who would want to be sold to probably the one pirate with a loyal heart of gold.

great plot; needs a better editor
This plot was excellent. One of the mysteries can be figured out almost immediately, but it wasn’t a detraction, as the plot frequently shifted, so my attention was always engaged. Let’s see, what else…It definitely has similar themes to the Pirates of the Caribbean. The negative is that there were multiple editorial mistakes (about 10, I’d say). Not so many as to DNF, but I definitely reread sentences a time or two with a growl.

A little slow paced but so fun!
Reminded me of a Sinbad the sailor × Pirates of the Caribbean crossover. Captain Stone and Georgette are so cute together and Prince Edward is a noble third wheel. Really enjoyed how the author ended this book and if you enjoyed it, there's others in the series.

Great fairy tale twist
While a couple of the surprises/twists were foreshadowed a little too hard, thus called early, this was a great twist to the Beauty and the Beast story. Love the pirate setting, which lended itself well to action and didn’t let the story get slow. Definitely a page turner; was excited to come back to it and finished it in two days. Look forward to reading the next one in the series.

Surprisingly clean and sweet Pirate romance
I was expecting a bodice ripper and that's not what this was. Outside of a few passionate kisses, this was a slow burn that wasn't consummated until after 85% of the book was done and even that was a fade to black scene. This could be compared to a Pirates of the Caribbean type story in that these main characters are on an adventure type journey that intersects with various magical/ supernatural elements. There is violence and death, however as well as a love triangle of sorts. It felt almost like I was reading a fairytale in some ways. All in all this is a interesting adventure tale. While it is titled as dark, it's not romance genre dark in the sense that most dark romance tropes include thematic elements such as dubious consent, kinks, dominant alpha males, etc... this is dark like an original Grimms Fairytale type dark. Both male love interests are honorable and kind and adoring with the woman love interest.

Excellent Escape
A great book that was a fun escape from reality for a bit! Wish there was even more romance but excellent overall.

Erghh not worth the hype.
All I've seen is this book over tiktok poster by the author under fake accounts. I like pirates so I thought why not. The book was basic and obvious of what was gonna happen especially the surprises.
