This works well for me as it goes under my enclosure, but if it was to be free standing it may be a little unstable as the base is small.

Too weak to hold a heat lamp.
Awful stand. It topples over when you add a heat lamp. The stand bottom goes under the unit you are heating so if it’s a whelping box then it’s just not tall enough. Even then it topples over. I’ve had to put dumbbells on it to keep it secure, which isn’t secure it if gets knocked. Not fit for purpose.

Using in an add on area for a 4x2x2 viv
I'm adding a removable extention to the front of my 4x2x2 wooden viv for my juvenile bearded dragon and this is gonna hold a heat dome above it for him. Its much smaller in height than I expected, it might possibly need weighted at the base as it is very light but it will work. If your wanting for to use for a lower viv or tortoise table etc then this is ideal but for a standard viv I'd recommend you go for a taller stand.

Easy to use
Took 2 minutes to put together. Very light so it needs to be weighted down.Otherwise holds my lamp perfectly, no issues.

This was easy to assemble and gives my tortoise a warm light to bask under

I have been using this stand for over a year. My only issue is the light is heavier than the stand base but it works well with a pile of books on top of the base (obviously any weight works well). It is very easy to move when opening my cage as the top slides from side to side.
