Size Name:1.75mm - 10m  |  Colour Name:Light Yellow Our Light Yellow TPU Filament is flexible and very durable. Like all rigid.ink 3D printer filaments, we've tested our TPU 1.75 3D Filament extensively to ensure layer-to layer bond is exceptional, and layer separation isn't something you need to worry about. And that means extremely durable prints, with excellent elongation before break of over 500%. Why buy a rigid.ink TPU 1.75mm Filament 10m sample? • Really flexible, more so than our flexible PLA • Resistant to grease/oil and abrasion • Very elastic and extremely durable • Exceptional layer-to-layer bonding so layer separation isn't an issue • Retains elastic properties in lower temperatures • Shore hardness 94A • Density 1.21g/cm3 • Shrinkage 0.8 - 1.8% How to use? • Printing temperature around 210-240°C • Heated bed temperature around 20-70°C • Lower print speed necessary (around 15-20mm/s) • Use blue painters tape or glue stick on the bed for adhesion What's included? •TPU 1.75mm filament 10m sample (approx. 35g) • Supplied with desiccant (just in case) • Unique rigid.ink resealable foil storage bag to keep filament fresh • Instructions and tips card • An unmatched 60 day money back guarantee • Chance to win amazing prizes We're not just interested in supplying outstanding quality, ultra reliable filament either; we're hot on customer service. Superb filament, give it a shot.
Great filament, bed adhesion is superb, layer adhesion is so good it's like having a uniform piece, consistancy is great and it feeds well too unlike many flexibles - to the point that I can push flow rates of 15mm/s through a normal e3d nozzle. The colour is fantastic - I've used both red and indigo - it's translucent so thin layers allow light transmission, but the saturation on both is great, print quality is good, walls come out smooth and it bridges well for a TPU - even when printing at the upper end of temperatures (I use 255c and 90c bed) for structural models - and yet it will also cope well printing objects with very fine detail. Tolerances are well held on the filament and shrinkage is a low and reliable 1.75% across all dimensions upon cooling for my setup, and has remained the same for every roll I've had. It's a tough, rubbery filament that's great for structural use with the layer bonding being so good - to the point that I use it for functional bearings and bushes for track and rally cars (see pictures). It's a little pricey, but if you need something consistent, strong and reliable, give it a try.

Stupidly easy to print.
printing TPU was something I was hesitant about, especially on a bowden setup, but the Rigid.Ink TPU prints stupidly easy.I slowed the speed of my printer down to 10mm/s. yes, it's slow, but I'd rather have a slow print that succeeds than a fast print that fails.Printing temp of 215-220 degree, stuff extrudes like a dream.I print on Glass, so glue stick, magigoo, PVA glue etc works as good as anything else. if you cant get flkexibles to stick, your bed must be covered in oil.
