National Products 6V Battery Operated Talking Train with Track

I bought this train with extra tracks in the fall of 2018 in time for Christmas visits from two small grandsons. I set it up and charged it and had an older grandson try it out to be sure it worked. It was a huge success at Christmas and beyond. We had it indoors during the winter -- even though it takes up a lot of floorspace with the figure-eight track layout. And in the spring and summer the tracks were outdoors on the patio. We brought it to my daughter's house for our grandson's 4th birthday party where it was also a huge hit with kids taking turns on it during the entire party. Lots of imaginative play giving stuffed animals a ride and taking "tickets" for "passengers" at the "station." If you want to store it, be sure you have lots of room since the train plus all the tracks takes a lot of space.

This is NOT a out of the box toy. You need to charge the battery for a full 18 hours before initial use. We ordered this for Christmas thinking we could put it together with the figure 8 expansion track set after our 18 month old went to bed so it would be ready Christmas day. Imagine my surprise reading that the battery needed to be charged for 18 hours prior to first use and needs to be charged after each use. WHOMP WHOMP. We charged for it for as long as we could, then let her use it. It took a bit of coaxing for her to realize she needed to press on the pedal to keep the train going, but that was easy enough. The speed of the train is JUST right where she's in no danger of falling off nor is it too slow. The circle tracks are fine, easy to put together but the figure 8 expansion really puts it over the top. Be prepared to give up A LOT of floor space, the tracks are not small. But my kid absolutely loves the train. It makes 5 sounds which she loves. Great toy.

Terrific ride-on train that has lasted us two years. We have had no problems with operation or durability. We bought this for my son on his 2nd birthday. He is now over 4 years old and still loves it. We keep buying more track for longer rides. What we really love about it is our son can ride it on our tile and wood floors (without the track). He actually prefers this the best! His 8 year old sister and 9 year old cousin(56 lbs and 65lbs respectively)enjoy taking their turns on it as well. It goes a little slower due to the weight but they still think it is a fun ride.I love it so much I am buying one for my nephew this year. I really read all reviews before I purchase big ticket items. Trust me this product lasts and was worth the money!

Bought this for my son's 1st birthday. He can't push the button to control the train by himself, but my 3 yr old daughter sitting behind him makes it double the fun anyway. Weight limit?--not an issue with 50+lbs on at once..still works fine. Is durable and fun. Small circle of tracks gets boring quick, but taking it "off road" brings back the excitement. This was the least expensive of the 3 I researched, and am more than satisfied with my purchase! My son will definitely grow into this and get its worth.

Got this for my granddaughters 1st birthday. She loves it. Obviously her legs dont reach the "go" peddle but parents worked that out. She has twin 6 yr old sisters that love it as well. The twins put the baby in the seat and one twin sits on the wagon that you can attach to the back and ride her around the track. And the twins ride it together. Total weight is approximately 70 to 75 lbs. Definitely recommend this train!

This thing is awesome! He plays on it off and on for days before I have to charge it. The “all aboard” button drives me nuts after awhile but that’s not the fault of the product. My son received this for his 1 year birthday. I did tape the peddle down as was suggested by another reviewer but he figured out how to turn the train off and on with the lever. It’s so much fun to watch him ride it.

We gave this to our daughter for Christmas and it was a huge hit. She is almost two. It took her half a day of getting on and off of it to get used to it, but since then she's become an expert. She had never been on a motorized ride on before. Only thing about it is you have to charge the battery for a full eighteen (18) hours before the first use.

Bought this as a 1st birthday gift. Sadly after 2 full days of charging it stl doesn't run. Can't get a hold of anyone though the number on the box and Amazon says can't be returned due to flammable liquid. Save your money and disappointment to your child

Ordered this for masen for Christmas and received a nut and bolt. Absolutely disgusting.
