Been a old returning customer!!!
I couldn't resist the temptation of amending my reviews again and again every time I buy these gadgets, but this time I've decided to re-write and simplify this review just because there are way too many merits to bring out in full details.I first bought these in March 2019 and installed them back in China to dim a few Philips, Osram and IKEA dimmable LED bulbs and they worked flawlessly, and so I would always bring a few back every time when I visit the UK. At the meantime, the soft-start feature feels very classy to me!A nice important feature is that the minimum brightness can be manually adjusted to suit different bulbs. Remember though, as different LED lights come with different circuit designs (i.e. there're no global standards on their technologies), by nature, there would be no such "universal" dimmer for all dimmable lights, e.g. these dimmers aren't normally compatible even with dimmable 24V DC LED strip drivers (unless with other compatible lights connected in parallel). My parents were pleased with these dimmers as they made it possible to set the bedroom lights to very dim levels. Whilst they were initially confused when they saw the lights stepping up and down on switching on the dimmer, I easily fixed this by activating the child lock.I last bought this in June 2022, some 3 years after my first purchase. Been a delight to see them packed in plastic bags rather than paper boxes. Gonna install it in due course.

Good value led dimmer
Ordered with 10x 4w g9 filament led bulbs. Works perfectly. Worth noting the device is programmable so you can get a full range of brightness and driving modes. At certain points the led flickers a tiny bit but a nudge or the dial sorts it. It's not as good as standard but for power saving LEDs it does the job. The push button is a little spongy for me tho so minus one star. There's also a little delay of a second or so between when you turn on or change the brihhtness. This seems to be a quirk of led dimming and isn't too bad.

Perfect for LED spotlights
Our lounge is lit with 8 GU-10 bulbs. After numerous cheap halogen bulbs exploding on a regular basis, I decided to switch all of them to dimmable LEDs. Our current dimmer worked to a degree, but flickered on/off at low light levels, so I did some research and discovered this. Worked perfectly out of the box. Comes with 3 modes and adjustable low/high lighting levels but worked just fine on the default settings. Plastic housing feels a tad cheap and I managed to chip it slightly due to carelessness while screwing it in to the wall, but this can be overlooked due to the clearly high quality electrical components within.

A very competent dimmer
This device is very easy to instal and the instructions are clear. The dimmer is programmable and reading the instructions sounded as though this might be tricky. However, by carefully following the instructions, I was able to programme it with no difficulty. I no longer get flicker with the dimmer set to half way.

Great dimmer
Bought this to dim a new (dimmable) LED light fitting in our dining area. Tried the "LED dimmer" from MK and it didn't really work, blinked intermittently when first turned on and made an annoying buzzing sound. No such problems from this dimmer, everything worked fine first time.I did rehouse this dimmer inside the MK faceplate so that it matched all the other switches better, but to be fair this doesn't look bad on its own. Someone less fussy might not feel the need. That said, I already had the other switch plate to use.

Possibly too clever a way through dimmer compatibility minefield
I'm only giving the product 4 stars probably for no fault of its own. It seems cleverly engineered in that you can calibrate it.Be warned that some dimmable LEDs still give slight buzzing sounds. I don't know enough about the electrics in them to say why. But it seems the more recent the bulb, the more likely not to buzz.As others noted, its clever ramping of power levels can be a turn-off for the impatient. With the bulb I have in there when I turn it on, it ramps up to full brightness for a second, then takes another two seconds to work its way down to minimum brightness if that's what I set it at. This might be good for your bulbs, but if you wanted the lowest light level in order to not be dazzled or in order to be discreet, you might find this a drawback. Imagine you wanted to take a girlfriend back to your pad and not be distracted by your bachelor room. For a couple of seconds your room will be fully illuminated. "WHAT was that I just saw on the shelf?".You can arrive in the calibration mode by accident as I have done by squeezing through the door with trays of food and double bumping the switch. It then goes through a stepped brightness routine. Just let it run through its calibration cycling routine and don't touch it or you could change the calibration.Clever dimmer, might be too clever for its own good.

Big range of dimming
I bought this LED dimmer as it works from 0 to 120W. Indeed the difference is huge comparing to the the previous dimmer that should be of a smaller range. Now the LED lights in my bathroom properly dim. The structure looks fine too with a demi-glossy white which matches the normal white of the wall.I wish it will last for long but if not, I am covered (if I remember well) by 10 years warranty anyway.

Good, but mine has only lasted a year.
Has been good and working well for a year but the switch is now getting stuck when pushed in. I have to turn the dimmer backwards and forwards in order to use the button again. Will be replacing with a better quality switch very soon.
