I say almost perfect because the stand is well-made, easy to assemble, and holds the iPad 12.9 inch pro easily without swivelling under the weight.The scope of adjustment is also very good.The only problem is that the clamp is only just wide enough to hold my iPad but out of its Zugu case!it has to be removed from the case every time I want to mount it onto the stand, which is a bit of a pain!Maybe they can consider this in their next generation of iPad stands 😊

Easy to assemble, solid pivot and clamp. Well made and built to last. Well weighted stand and a 13” iPad Pro fits easily - not always the case.Height adjustment is less flexible as you need to remove sections to significantly lower the height.

Initially thought it was good quality but the attachment to the clamp (which holds the iPad) has sheared off. Only three months old. Cannot find any way to report it to the company and there is no product support page from Amazon. Disappointed.

I love that this can accommodate my iPad and my phone wherever I am especially when I need to work out or go outside or even when I’m at the couch sitting down

This stand is sturdy, stable and flexible. The base is heavy and stable - there is no wobble. There are 3 segments, each about 14" long, that you can install or not. You screw them to the base and to each other to set the overall height. I am using two of them. At the top you screw on the arm that holds the tablet. The arm is completely adjustable with a rotating sleeve and two joints. The tablet holder is mounted on a ball joint so you can tilt and angle it. The clip is spring-loaded to hold the tablet. I'm using it with an iPad mini, and it works great.I now own several Twelve South products, and they are all carefully thought-through and well-made. I am impressed.

My only issue is on an iPad 12.9 inch it's a bit hard to get in and out. But very great build quality.

High quality, good balance, good finish. A very good piece of equipment. The only minor negative I'd mention, which I overcame with patience is that the stand comes in multiple pieces that have to be screwed together by hand. The threads are high quality but very fine meaning it can be challenging to line up the threads to screw together without stripping anything. And then came the last piece that isnt just a straight tube. Super difficult to align. I got it done but that was tricky.

Item very well made and sturdy for practical use.
