Oster FPSTSMPL1 Planetary Stand Mixer, Black, 4.5 qt

I love this mixer. I have been wanting one for years. It is very well constructed. Has alittle weight to it, but not terrible. I am a fan of Oster Products. For the price it was a very good buy. Love the splatter guard that comes for the top of the bowl. Also, it has attachments, which are very sturdy. Most mixers you have to order the attachments separately.

This is perfect for the type of baking I do; cookies, cake, quick breads. Since it isn't the largest version it is easy to store in a cupboard.

Good value

I like the nonstick attachments, the bowl with double handles & size of this standing mixer. I have not had any vibration or walking on counter problems as others have stated. I did have the not mixing well along the bowl problem... but I don’t bake as much as some, so I don’t think it’s a big deal to have to scrape with a spatula & continue mixing. It’s a nice mixer for the price.

A great mixer. I love that the beaters lock in place and so does the bowl. There is no need to scrape the sides of the bowl and the splash guard and the handles are great. It is a heavy duty mixer and I think it will last for a long time. I've had more expensive stand mixers, but this one seems to be superior to those so called "top rated" ones. I didn't want a black mixer, but I can live with it.

It was a gift for my wife. She wanted a mixer that was moderately heavy duty and wasn't too big. After a couple months and at least a half dozen uses, she loves it. She has made bread, cookies, and cake with no issues.
