Fantastic!
I dive in the PNW where water is 49-53 degrees year round. Didn't want to spend thousands on dry suit and felt this would be a good option and I wanted something more than traditional 7mm one piece suit. It is GREAT! I wore a skin underneath and went diving in December. Water temp was 51 and air temp was 39. I was comfortable the whole time; in and out of the water. Multiple dives. So worth the investment. I would totally recommend this!

The sizing chart is to small
If you know what size suit you wear add more to this one.I've been diving for over 40 years and your body changes with time, good and bad. These are the best suits I use today for being off the rack. Tough, warm and easy to put on, if you buy a little bigger.I'm 5'11" at 223# and use a 3XL (I hate that it's made in china)My 12 year old son is 5'4" and uses a Large just to get in it. (chart size reads M)(again made in china)They are great suits for cold water and working under water. Hollis makes great diving gear that makes sense for Tech. diving.

Very comfortable fairly easy self dining and not to mention very ...
The only wet suit/semi dry suit I will never buy. I’ve had 4 wetsuit from 4 different large name manufacturers and none of the measure up to this one. Hollis really paid attention to detail. This suit is made up of 8 mm 7 mm and 6 mm neoprene with Hollis is lava skin core and baffles in the arms and legs. The freedom of movement and comfort level in my opinion is second to none. Very comfortable fairly easy self dining and not to mention very warm. Getting the shoulder and hood section over your head for the first time took some getting used to. However by the second or third time it was easy. Front zipper was tough to pull across for the first couple of times. A small amount of silicone grease took care of that. The thigh pockets are extremely convenient. Gloves real’s etc. anything you would like not to be dangling from you. I personally keep a spare mask in one side and my finger real and dsmb in the other side. D rings on the inside of the side of the thigh pockets are very convenient for connecting items you don’t want floating away when you open the large pocket.

Nice wetsuit, not drysuit
Really nice wetsuit. Not at all a drysuit.Water creeps in real slow and is held nxt to you so your body it warms up. Was in a norcal creek for an hour where the water is liquid ice right now and all parts of me covered by the suit were relatively warm cept for my head. The hood of this wetsuit is not as thick in comparison to the rest.Nice suit but $300 wud be the max i thnk this suit is worth.

Felt good in the 60s
Really warm suit, was way too hot up on the surface at 70f. Felt good in the 60s, a little chilly in the 50s, as expected for wetsuits (this is a wetsuit after all). The seals work well, you can feel when cold water goes up your arms from your gloves pumping it, but it doesnt go past the elbow seal. Same at the ankles, water in the suit will pool up above the seal if you leave the suit unzipped and try to exit the water: you have to reach up the inside of the leg to pull the seal out a little to drain the suit. More buoyant than I expected, used a bit more lead than with rental 2-piece 7mm. Pockets are really nice, strong velcro closures and they expand pretty big with D rings inside. Wish they made suits to fit skinnier divers these days, still a bit loose around the middle, though legs and arms and chest fit perfect. Only complaint, minor one that might go away as I break it in: the hood likes to pull back from my forehead, I spent a bit of time pulling it down towards my mask during each dive.

Probably the best semi-dry out there for the money
I recently purchased my second Hollis NeoTek Semi-Dry (V2 now, size XLS), and it is absolutely PERFECT for my kind of diving. It is superbly comfortable, fits very well, and keeps me toasty even during the winter while diving a local quarry. I still have the first one (V1 size L), but the zipper broke after 5 years of almost weekly use.

Great suit - I stay warm
I'm 5' 11" and 158 pounds. I'm a little tall for the suit but after trying it on at home I hoped it would stretch a little.I'm a cave diver and after 25 dives this summer in Mexico I can't say how thrilled I am. Water is not cold, only 78 degrees, but I do chill easily especially after a few days of diving with dives lasting as long as 2.5 hours. Even at the end of the trip, the suit worked great, minimal wear and tear (caves do beat up a suit and I like tight holes to squeeze through), pockets appear to be in a perfect place for me to reach using sidemount tanks and the hood kept my head nice and warm. My only grip is one of my leg seal ripped and I had to aqua seal it, but other than that, I would buy this suit again.
