Good quality for the price
The price seemed OK for my experiment where I needed a lot of the screw studs.I have no problems with these studs and they are working well.Just add a drop of glue to the threads to make sure they don't fall apart.

Looks good, won’t stay on! Not working for me.
The media could not be loaded. This item would be great, it’s sturdy, attractive, easy to apply, BUT the back portion is so small that it pulls through the opening and does not stay secure. I’m glad is was a low cost, which helped soften my disappointment.

Nice little screws for thinner leather
As long as you're only working with 2 to 3mm thick leather, these little screws are perfect. I'm thinking I'll use these on some dog collars. I got the 6mm silver ones. A few observations:1) They seem well made. No rough edges or poorly shaped metal here. The studs are centered on the bases, and I didn't notice any in my pack that seemed off.2) The screws have small/tiny phillips heads. I appreciate the inclusion of the phillips head, as it is much easier to work with than a standard slot head.3) The thinness of the screw head. I've tried to take a few photos to illustrate just how thin and almost flush the screw head is on the back of these. I put one into a piece of scrap, 2mm thick faux leather just to illustrate it.4) The screw is very short, given the length of the stud part. It seems like these could be longer, which would make them more useful for thicker leathers. As it stands, I don't think I'd try anything thicker than 3mm leather.Overall really pleased with these. I may order some in black for future projects, as well.

Easy to install round head Chicago screws
Vine Customer Review of Free ProductThis set of 50 Chicago screws (8mm) is easy to install in the leather items I create for my small business. The screw end utilizes a small phillips head screwdriver to install and remove them. The black finish is smooth, electroplated over a zinc alloy and each piece feels smooth without any blemishes.I recommend this item

Good for less than 1/8" thick leather
These Chicago screws are good for thin, and I mean thin, leather. Less than 1/8" thick. If that's what you've got, they'll most likely work fine. I had some leather > 1/4" thick that I wanted to use, and these do not work with it. Is what it is.

Nice little studs, screws are too short
These are cute little studs for small projects in thin materials. The screw threads are, by my calipers, 4.9 mm long. Not a lot to work with, but I think they'll be usable for the right project. I'll use a little threadlock, just in case, but I usually do that anyway. The button itself has a diameter of 6 mm, and the shaft is 3.9mm wide by 4mm long. Again, serviceable for small products. One plus I'll give them is the screw backs, with small Phillips style slots, are very thin and will make a nice inner surface in a project. I'm thinking these are going in a boot design I've been working on, and should work ideally, without too much load on them, should be fine.

Good Chicago Screws for not too thick leather
I ordered the 10mm black Chicago screws and I measured them to verify the sizes. The button head is 9.83mm, which is pretty close to the stated 10mm. The base width is 11.06mm and the height of the button post is 11.53mm. The screw is 5.39mm long (including the thin flat head) and the threaded area is 2.69mm wide. With the 5.39mm long screw you can figure out how thick your leather can be and still use these Chicago screws. I would say probably 2-3mm thick leather would be the maximum, and still have enough threads to hold. They arrived in a sealed bag and the screws were in a smaller bag that was put into the larger bag with the posts. I could see no damage to any of the parts and considering they were all shipped together I’d say they should hold up for a while.Given that the threads on the screws are 2.69mm wide, I used a 2.5mm punch and pushed the screw through without using too much pressure, since I want the screw to be pretty tight in the punched hole. The screws need a small Phillips head screwdriver.
