I didn't have much hope, but surprise, surprise! These booties stay on my dog! That 5stars right there! The quality is good, the boots are flexible and well made. No stitching inside that can be painful for the dog when walking. The boots are waterproof and work well inthe Midwest weather. Please keep in mind they are not lined with fleece, these are utilitarian and work well and will prevent your dogs paws to freeze...now if someone can please convince my dog it's for her own good to wear them, that would be great haha!

These booties are just what we were looking for..our German shepherd has foot issues and needed something to protect her outside..in these she is able to run all she wants and her feet stay protected, dry, clean and warm. They don’t absorb the water and they are easy to clean. They fit her front feet perfectly and although they were a little big for her back feet I just added an elastic strap it took less than two minutes and she was good to go…now the fit is perfect. She doesn’t try to take them off and they didn’t make her walk funny even the first time… I would highly recommend these

They won’t stay on because the type of fabric that is made with. And the straps won’t help. My dog was able to shake them off immediately, making them useless.

our pup recently suffered a medical emergency that left her temporarily paralysed. as she regained movement she drags her back feet pretty significantly, causing small scrapes and cuts as well as rubbing down some of her nails. these shoes have been a lifesaver! the sturdy base helped her keep her footing and not slip around on our hard floors and protected her feet while outside. easy to put on and so durable! highly recommend.

They went on smooth and stayed on good if you got them on tight enough I was never sure if was to tight but dog never seemed to get to annoyed we other them in the snow and water kept paws about 95% dry reflective wasn't too bright I ended up losing one in snow after about 3 uses

I have just received a second pair of these booties. These shoes stay on and fit both back and front. The rubberized/vinyl cover appears to come up higher on the paws than other makes, so the feet get a good protection and there is no pressure on the lower leg. The deal is they need to be quite snug on the rear paws. His feet are protected from mud, water, slush, and mild snowfall. He got used to these very quickly and, once out on the street, pranced like a walking horse and jumped up to show them off. Watch out for the increased traction if your dog likes to pull--it nearly doubles. Note that Velcro is imperfect over the long haul, so in time the straps will loosen and gradually slip off of a dog that runs. BUT, these are so good that our 50 lb. poodle now has his sporting new pair.

If you are looking for durable boots for your dog, these will fit that description. They are well made with sturdy soles which was what I was looking for, as the Midwestern winters can be harsh. Additionally, they also fit my dog's paws well, and do not rub or chafe her feet. It didn't take her that long to get used to them; I had her wear them briefly inside the house before we headed outside into the snow. With that being said, my main complaint is that the cuff of the boot is too short and allows snow to get trapped in it which can lead to frostbite if left on for too long. Care must also be taken to completely knock the snow out of the boots once they are taken off to prevent the inside of boots becoming wet and reeking like wet dog. So far, I had had to launder them twice, but they do hold up well in the washing machine. Additionally, despite wrapping the velcro around my dog's ankles as tightly as I could without them being uncomfortable for her, at least one or two of the boots fell off each time we used them. This happened even more often while walking/running in deep snow. I had also hoped to use these boots during wet conditions/after it rained, but was unable to do so as the mud easily pulled them off my dog's paws. As a result, it was a hassle carrying off one or more boots that had fallen off during our walks since it was impossible to get them back on with the cuffs filled with snow/mud.
