Great Resource
This book is the fourth I have purchased in the last two weeks. The first I ordered for myself; loved it so much that I bought three more for gifts. If you are looking for some structure to your daily communing time with the Lord, this is a very rich resource. Each day guides one step by step through a liturgical study that is designed to draw one closer in a relationship with the living Lord and Savior. Highly recommend.

Excellent resourse
I bought this for my personal use, but have been using it during my service at the prison. I especially like the prayers of adoration, confession, and assurance of pardon.

Nice condition overall, but page came ripped
Binding and texture of cover is nice. Just glanced in the book and found a page ripped. Review is about the structure and delivery of book not the content.Edit: Honestly, i believe 4 stars is sufficient instead of 3, considering it was just a page.

Transformational
This is awesome and really what I needed. I have struggled with devotional time as most devotionals just seem so "cheesey". This has been a wonderful daily supplement and guide for my daily devotional time. Definitely recommend!!

A 31-Day Guide to Structured Worship with Purpose
There is a very distinct difference between liturgical worship and more contemporary worship styles (I'm not referring to music in this instance). Liturgical worship is very structured with a sense of order and purpose, often with a feel of being scripted or following a menu, whereas more recent worship forms are typically less structured, though there's often a general flow. This is not to say either are right or wrong, and both have strengths and weaknesses. Typically, when speaking of liturgy it is often in reference to specific churches such as the Catholic, Episcopal, Lutheran, and to a lesser extend the traditional Methodist church, so I expected this book to be in line with one of those churches as a general guideline for worship services. I was wrong - this is directed more to smaller groups of people and individuals. That said, it definitely has the feel of prayer as would be led in a more structured church.I have attended churches that follow a more contemporary style for years, so liturgical services often feel strange when I have been in such services as a guest. If you are unfamiliar with liturgy and such structure, you may find this book quite uncomfortable as it may feel like you're following a recipe with exact measures versus just "worshipping in the moment". The thing to remember, though, is that the structure does serve a purpose, to guide and direct the worshipper. It is not meant to be a simple, scripted, empty experience, nor is it intended as a straight ritual for the sake of ritual. Instead, it is more of a roadmap of sorts. You're free to follow the main route precisely or you can take another road in the same general direction. Both get you there. What's important is that you keep the purpose in mind, so that it's not just reciting a pre-written block of words without thought. This is a one-month guide to liturgical worship and has everything contained within so no outside references are needed. It's an interesting structure, where there is a back-and-forth flow between prayer, reading, more prayer, confession, more reading and so on. There are blocks of Scripture to read, and there are references to catechisms and creeds which are contained in the appendices. Again, the purpose of reading all this stuff isn't simply to perform spiritual weightlifting; the readings should be thoughtful and meditative. The book is imitation leather-bound with three ribbon markers. The pages are slightly off-white and the font is easy on the eyes so it is an easy read.I suspect that this book will probably not fit a lot of readers' idea of proper worship because of the prevalence of more modern worship structure with less emphasis on readings and more emphasis on prayer and music. For the person looking for a liturgical guide to daily personal worship, this is a fine resource.

Beautiful liturgical directed spiritual reading, prayer and meditaion for Protestants
To Catholics, Eastern Orthodox and liturgical Protestant denominations , liturgy is incredibly important, and liturgical style prayer and meditation is a mainstay of many Catholics, EO , Anglicans, Lutherans, etc. For Catholics the Liturgy of the Hours or its shorter versions are often used. This book is directed primarily towards Protestants. It is very nicely done, not too demanding, and presents a good introduction to liturgical prayer and spiritual reading. It provides a repeated structure to develop spiritual discipline in one's prayer life that is so lacking for many in protestantism (non liturgical denominations do lack this kind of structure - I know from first hand experience). Set structure in prayer life helps to build a strong discipline of prayer, which deepens one's spiritual walk over time. This book is done in such a way any christian can use it, and even though, as a Catholic, I wince sometimes at some of the protestant authors used, so far I have found nothing used that could not also have come from the pen of a Catholic. It is very well done, and helos promote unity between christians of all denominations.

A great prayer book guide
I was looking or searching for a new prayer book guide for the Reformed Christians. "Be Thou My Vision", which was based from the song, is a daily prayer guide within 30 days. This is really helpful for personal purposes.
