AvonCalming Effect SAND BEIGE Loose Powder Mineral Foundation

This powder foundation has a lovely natural tone to it for those who do not want a thick, heavy coverage. It evens out your natural skin tones and helps cover up dark circles under the eyes and blend any blemishes. I am in my 40's and find my wrinkles look awful with a foundation that is too heavy, unless i am having my photo taken or i am on video (that doesn't happen much though). I love this, it is easy and quick to apply with a large soft brush, using circular motions and is perfect for work. It covers well and I am even using it for my son-in-law's wedding, as i didn't want to look like mutton dress as lamb. I love it and a great simple foundation that you can build up if you want.

I tried this today and it was a lovely colour match gave a warmth to your complexion which was different to my usual liquid foundation. I found it didn’t cover up my redness on my nose or darkness under my eyes very well so I put some concealer on first,set that with some translucent powder then used a kabuki brush I got off Amazon to buff it in and it looks very natural and is a lovely shade. It’s made me look quite dewy and healthy and my face can breath I really like it now I have a proper brush to apply it with I’m sure my make up routine will be less than 5 minutes now which is what I wanted. At 35 I’m getting sick of liquid foundation and powders and everything in between taking me an hour just to leave the house , I wanted somthing quick that looks natural but you still look “well” not pasty or overdone. Really impressed. And I have sensitive skin and have had no issues and this is really a quick swap in my makeup routine and I think this is going to be my daily foundation now. Very good. I will keep using from now on.

Great mineral powder foundation lasts all day just perfect. I have been using it for years.

At first I found this was 'caking' when I applied it with the stubby brush that came with some mineral powder that I previously tried. So I tried using a very soft, fan shaped brush and used very little of the product. The result was much better. You can get a less 'powdered' effect if you keep stroking with that brush.The pot is a little divil to open, but you cant really leave it just closed over, because you need to give it a little shake to dispense the powder through the tiny hole (that's the silver grey bit on the picture)Not sure that I will be buying this again, I'm not that impressed, but it isn't dreadful, so I will use it up.
