Simoniz 1831503 SIM36 500ml Colour Polish - Black

Having read the other reviews I decided to take a chance. Having used the rubbish that Turtle wax sell in the past I figured that this HAD to be better, I figured correctly!When you own a black car it does take a bit of work polishing it as the polish dries to a haze and it shows up on black paint work.As our car was not loved by it's previous owner it had a few scratches on it. After one polish with Simoniz most of the scratches are now gone. The instructions say for deeper scratches you may need a second polish, I can't wait until this crazy weather has broken so I can try a second polish to see if the remaining scratches disappear.Take my advice and buy this product, it works and no stupid wax pen to mess around with.

last black car I have for a while, even brushing past it seems to mark it, but having said that, this polish does the job and brings my Jag back to nearly showroom finish whenever I put a bit of effort in to it. It can be applied quick or slow - quick gives the car a tidy up and water repellent finish, but do a really thorough job, panel at a time does give a really good finish.

Love it. Does a really nice job of polishing a black car I've had nothing but good things said about my car after its done. Literally like a mirror.The only word of warning, and this view for all polishes, don't do it in direct sunlight or if the bodywork is warm. You can feel it harden immediately and it needs to be buffed in straight away.

Impressive product that works. This is easy to apply, doesn’t need too much ‘elbow’ grease and leaves a wonderful shine. I will be buying this again.

Used to smarten up my car before selling it

Have used other polishes designed for dark vehicles, but small scratches still showed and were sometimes highlighted by the dry polish. This polish prevented these scratches being highlighted and left a lovely shine. The only reason I gave it a 4 star was that it readily washed off my hands easily with washing up liquid. I found it easy to use and have already ordered more for when this bottle eventually runs out.

For the money you can't go wrong. A little goes a long way. Lasts up to 6 washes before it begins to fade but at this price you can polish it every month. Its easy to put on and buff off. Wear gloves it is black after all but easily washed off with a nail brush and soap

Used it on my black alfa wasn't sure how good it would be , I was amazed at the results , but make sure you wear gloves , doesn't spread brillantly , but the results are superb , stone chips just disappeared , buy with confidence .
