I bought this to keep the crows from stealing the suet out of the old one we had. The woodpeckers took to it immediately. I like that it holds two cakes and the smaller birds (Pygmy nuthatches, bluebirds) can also enjoy the suet. I will be adding another one to our collection later in the year. Not sure it will survive the bear. 😉 I’ll return with an update later.

Very happy with this feeder! It’s very sturdy and easy to open and fill! The birds must really like it too, they chowed down pretty quickly!🤣😉

This is a great product but if you look at where the hanger hooks on to the body of the house (two eyelets at the roof), you can see that it's a tight fit. I have a hard time refilling this feeder because you have to push in the hanger while holding down the roof to the "house". This would not be good for anyone with arthritis or difficulty with manipulating their hands (especially in cold weather). When it's time to get another suet feeder, I'll choose something easier to work with.

We had used a different suet feeder before and certain features were detrimental to the types of birds it attracted. This suet feeder is perfect. Perch designed for the birds you want to see. It is very easy to fill, and it looks attractive. Great purchase!

Very easy to load and clean. Being metal, it also looks much nicer than the usual plastic suet feeders.

The birds love it and it’s always easy for them to eat suet from both sides. Great purchase, will definitely buy again.

Not cheap wire with cheap hinges that fail or break easily. You take the top off to load. So easy and lots less mess. Also, the birds have a perch to land on to be able to eat more easily.

Instead they just take the whole thing so be mindful where you out it or in the morning you will play hide and seek trying to find it.They cannot lift off the lid! That is a great feature. That being said, I too struggle a bit but that’s just the lack of strength in my fingers.Good design overall
