Beautiful item to hold alone, and great to use. Still getting used to its potential. Just means that I need spray gun cleaner, cleaning station etc - all from Amazon of course...

This is a photo of the 'sturdy handsome storage case.' A cardboard box. Disappointing.This is my first airbrush and as others have said there are no instructions. On my first test, paint sprayed on pressing down for air. I had to watch plenty of YouTube videos to try to understand if this was a problem I could rectify. It turned out to be a simple case of the needle not being seated correctly.Once this was sorted the airbrush worked well. It feels quality but I have nothing to compare it to.Disassembling and cleaning is fiddly especially the trigger guard and trigger. But maybe after a few times this will become easier.I have given a middle of the road three stars at the current time but due to the casing it only warrants one star. I am in the UK and this was an import from US, so perhaps this is usual. Maybe US purchasers get the metal box. As regards the airbrush it feels around four stars at present for quality and build. I will update in a few months time once I have used it more.Update: I’ve had this airbrush 14 months and it’s died on me! Paint bubbling in the cup although it has been used ten times over this period and been kept scrupulously clean. In spite of trying every suggestion found on internet to remedy nothing works. I even used the fine needle and nozzle that up until that point had never been used and same problem happened. No point in sending for repair and spending best part of £59 as might as well put this money to another airbrush that will last longer!

Item received from vendor (Jadlam models) as described packaged in Badgers standard plastic case, assembly guide and parts list. Airbrush is fitted with 0.2 nozzle, needle and tip with 0.33 nozzle,needle and tip provided. I have not fully tested it yet hence only 4 star review, so this is being judged on my previous experiences of Badgers build quality and usage, at the moment my go to airbrush is an Xtreme Patriot 105 and I also still use my 150 airbrush which has served me well for nearly 30 years so I find them pretty much bulletproof. I wanted an airbrush that could spray finer lines and originally considered purchasing a Sotar 20/20 but, after watching some comparison videos, felt that the RK1 would give greater flexibility for my needs.I have disassembled and reassembled the RK1 with no major problems and have no issues when plugged into my BA 1100 compressor, feel and balance is comparable with the Patriot 105. My personal preferences are for Badger air brushes as spare parts are readily available and relatively inexpensive compared to others (in my view) and haven't, to date, let me down.In the end it's down to personal choice but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this item from previous experience.

I bought the item for my boyfriend and one great feature that attracted him to the airbrush was the metal case that was supposed to come with it. Upon opening it, there was no metal but instead a cheap plastic case. Inside the case was a sponge insert that was clearly the wrong shape for the airbrush and there was so much room in the box that the airbrush was out of its sponge insert. The photo of the airbrush loose in its case was taken upon removing it from its packaging, this is how we received it. The only reason I have given it 2 stars before even using it is due to the appearance and packaging being so poor. My boyfriend does state that it looks and feels a good quality brush and we are awaiting the seller resolving the issue with the wrong case. We shall see if the score improves after that.

Ive had this brush for 2 glorious yearsBut then time to change the nylon brush in the centre of the main bodyDisaster when unscrewing it the head snapped off .Now i have 2 options1 replace the main body at a cost of £392 bin it and buy a awata

This was bought as a present for my adult son. He has been very pleased with it!! Seems it is incredibly accurate and easy to use.

Just got this airbrush and this is all new for me, but after connecting it for the first time to a BA1100 compressor, the cap flew off and all air just flies out of the cup that holds paint indicating the end where the needle sits is completely airtight.Badger supply nothing the in way of instructions other than a detailed blue print, parts list and some general maintenance tips.Edit: turns out the issue was with me, I had to rebuild the brush with the .33mm needle provided and put the nib on in the wrong order. The lack of detailed instructions was a pain, but with the help of YouTube and Forum support, I was able to get this working.End of the day, this brush is awesome quality, and I have already finished working on a few miniatures with it, the results are awesome, just need to get better with my colour choices.

Comes with 2 needle sizes. The smaller is unbelievably accurate and perfect for 3D print finishing as well as automotive touch up and anything else needing small detail work

Quality product. I had no need to refine it or tweak it at all. This is a high end brush for pro's but any beginner would benefit from this as well.

Take this with a grain of salt, this is my first airbrush that isn't a cheap knockoff. But this incredible, cleans easy, smooth and doesn't clog easily, consistent flow.I'm sure there are better and more expensive but this was worth every cent to me
