We supply everything you need (apart from the specimens!) and our own instruction booklet takes you through the steps one by one in an easy to understand format and also points you to more advanced techniques.

DIY Slides - like the professionals!
A useful addition for anyone with a microscope, if you want to make your own slides. Arrived well-packed with instructions included. Not suitable for primary children, probably better for children of secondary age up to adulthood, as the process involves handling hot liquids. It is just as displayed in the picture.

Apex Slide Kit
I purchased this kit to introduce my six year old grandson to the use of the microscope.The kit was excellent for this purpose,having anice set of prepared slides which whetted his appetite to make his own slides. The blank slides,cover slips,pipettes, and mounting fluidin the kit allowed him to produce some very nice slides of simpler fauna and flora.For the purpose I wanted this kit was excellent.
