Disappointing !!
A bit disappointing as the photos in the Amazon advert make it look much more desirable than it really is. The lighting effect was nowhere near as impressive as shown on Amazon, and also just be aware that if it's detail you want from the globe, forget it. The thing is only 3" in diameter and shows only basic geographical detail. I would recommend this product as a desk-top gimmick or as a present for a 12 year old. The globe actually floats very well when positioned on the magnet, and spins for a good while when you give it a twirl.

mm,, very tricky to get going, once we got it going looked good fascinating, but so easy to loose the little stick that you use, as my grandson did, now put away somewhere.!

It just doesn't float! I like the colours but it's a big disappointment. Expensive failure unfortunately!

Very clever floating globe
Very cool gift that gets people talking.....how does it do that? Nice ambient lighting too. Be aware this is a very small globe so not for you if you really want a globe to look at to see countries of the world......t really is 3 inches in diameter.

My Grandson loves it - I bought it as a Christmas present, and as he had an even better one in the shape of a new son on Christmas Eve, he has only just got round to setting it up .
