A Great Book
Another great story in the Hunter series from Gerri. I really enjoyed reading this book, it is a great conclusion to the series. It was great touching base with all the characters and the twists and turns of the plot were intriguing. I could not put it down and would recommend the whole series. Thank you Gerri for a great series.

Gripping!
Gerri Hill can always be relied upon for a cracking story and especially when she is writing about her favourite crime fighter Tori Hunter. In this volume, we finally get to find out who was responsible for the life changing event in Tori's past, when her family was murdered. It is gripping, as Tori struggles to keep her focus when being triggered buy her original trauma, luckily she not only has her partner but her friends to help her. With a surprising conclusion this is a fitting way to give Tori closure, I wonder what she will do next.

5th and final book in Gerri Hills compelling "Hunter" series.
It’s a good while since I read the previous books and now I may well return to read them all again in full sequence. Gerri Hill has apparently mentioned that this is the last and 5th book in the “Hunter” series. And certainly it does come full circle and completes the series.Detective Tori Hunter was the sole survivor when her family were murdered in front of her when she was 12 years old. A new case draws her back to that huge loss which impacted so considerably on her. And her happy home life with wife Sam and close friends Casey and Lesley is at risk when she starts to investigate the past with the impact of recent developments. It's a complicated story, there is no easy route to solving this, but determination wins through, and this is peppered with red herrings, suspects galore and heartbreaking facts and details. Altogether a very satisfying conclusion to this very compelling series. 5*

the final chapter always seems to be hard, especially if your a Tori Hunter fan.
If you haven’t read the series, you really should. Tori, a detective, who doesn’t always follow the rules comes from a family of cops. When Tori was young, he home was broken into, the family tied up and murdered. All except Tori who had to watch as her father was shot, her mother was shot, her two brothers, and her younger sister were shot. Tori was left with her dead family and the memories of that night until the police arrived. The case was never solved. The memories remained. The questions remained. Why her entire family, but she was left. They call it survivor’s guilt. Tori wanted, and still seeks answers and fulfill a promise she made to them; find out why and who then send them to the prison they would never escape from… HELL!

You won't put this one down till the end!!
Another amazing, suspense-filled book by Gerri Hill. She never lets you down. Tori & Sam and Casey & Lesley had me laughing, in tears (a lot) and wanting the love & friendship they have for each other.

A great ending...or beginning
I know this is the ending of the Hunter series but how cool if it was just the beginning of the a new series...don't want to give anything away.Anyway, I really enjoyed this story. I wish there was more inclusion of Les and Sykes but they do show up. I was really glad there were no romance scenes because I feel it wouldn't have fit with the pace of the story.I'm rambling I know bit I really did enjoy it and I think I might reread Hunter's Way just because 😀
